Ordered Exeter and Dagenham tickets today (on the phone - ooh!) £21 WITH pre-order discount - £23 on the day!!!
Woman at NTFC also expressed dismay at the price and jokingly asked if I still wanted it!
Still, as the little chap with no neck from Fantasy Island, with the strange French name and who used to say: "Here come the plane boss" said;
"Don't suppose anyone noticed much last season, with so much riding on the game but can't remember it being that expensive".

Errm, isn't that pretty much what we charge?

Facilities for away fans are much better at their place too...

While on the subject of facilities for visiting supporters, can anyone please advise what the parking is like (and where it is). Many thanks - it's our first time there.

You can park on the main road (can't think what it's called) if you get there early enough. Parking's not a problem, finding a decent pub, well, thats another matter!

Yeah, Dagenham's a god awful place in all honesty...been every Cobbs game there and can't really see what the supposed great facilities malarky is all about! Attraction of the day is being around the great metropolis, but the Eastbrook Tavern a few minutes past the ground is pretty good!

This! It's barely five mins from the ground and was alright.

We'll be going to Liverpool Street first again, the Williams Ale & Cider House and the Woodins Shades were both great pubs.

Paid £17 on the day to stand in the side terrace last year.

Assume that's closed for this game though?

Probably wouldn't have gone anyway but the price has definitely put me off.

Went to the Williams Ale & Cider House at Liverpool St last season after game...good place. Liverpool St itself makes the Dagenham trip worth it.

That's it, London itself is choices, choices! Speaking of which...remember the back street boozer at Waterloo (before Wimbledon)? Even more ridiculous than Dagenham with its prices!  Shocked

You can buy a beer in the away end (there's more than 2 people serving - Carr's bar take note) and the stand itself has enough elevation that you can see over the goalposts/netting.

That's at least 2 points above our away end in terms of facilities, so that's what the malarky is about.

Loads of back street parking if you're prepared to walk 5 mins.

My debut for the season. Lured by London. Liverpool St area for drinks? Although hate the Wetherspoons there full of after work d!ckheads during the week full of "Im in London first pub we see d!ckheads" at weekends. A good heads up of a couple of Liverpool St pubs would be nice. A new ground for me and an ok start to the season. Looking forward to it.
ps must plug the tiny Euston Tap for those on the way back and if weather is good, tiny tap house pub with good selection of unusual beers.

Run by the same people as the Taps at Sheffield and York Stations!  The York one was excellent as dp_cobbler will testify!
