Toney.

Until he came on early second half the performance was clueless. Hackett apart, no-one showed any creative spark in a lifeless poor first half.

The second half transformation can be put done to his ingenuity and willingness to run, opening up space for others, Richards in particular.

K-Mo showed plenty of strong running but poor delivery into the box.

The midfield was no more than adequate and the defensive generally had little to do.

Toney. Only 45 mins, but everything he did was excellent.

Emile Sinclair - Much improved performance, orchestrating our attacking play until he went off. Was unlucky having to go off; I assume it was something to do with his first half injury. Mentions also for Chris Hackett and Ben Tozer.

Going to go for Tozer. I have been critical of his full back play in the past but I'll hold my hands up, he was excellent combining with Hackett in the first half yesterday and then slotted easily into CB when Collins went off. Thought Diamond, Hackett, Mohamed, Sinclair and Toney from the bench all had good games to.

Tozer had a great game but Mohammed for me was immense.

I think hes easily been the signing of the summer. Direct, powerful, pacey, good in the air, good end product generally, doesnt give the ball away yet always looks to go forward. If Hackett gets back to his best, those two will be massively important for us

Plenty of good performances but the performance that sticks most in mind is Toney.

K-Mo for me, but I thought JJ had a good game , maybe playing to defensively but he hardly gives the ball away.
