Rico was quality first time we had him as well. Difference is he's aiming his shots about 8 inches lower this time around

Sinclair - next ps where you a boxer in a former life? So you wouldn't have played Sinclair tonight, instead you've had played Bayo?

Difference is he's aiming his shots about 8 inches lower this time around I was being a little devious, as he did have horrible luck for most of that season! We definitely have a better player now though as he much more experienced and canny. Different sort of player, but is no coincidence last time we had an experienced striker who still worked e.g. McGleish how we were more effective.

Seems to me Rico is also much bigger and stronger than when he was here before, so able to assert more physically.

"Andrew Ellis was very much against what was going on. The Cardozas were strictly about business and development so that was him out the door. Andrew Ellis was only ever a football man."

Whether the experts like it or not we missed a certain charismatic ball holding player today. All the big naffs happy to say "let's move on" but unable to suggest an adequate replacement! The big problem with you Marquis and Tel your so so "snooty football experts" that your happy to criticize hoofball but fail to notice that the oppo do it as well. So if it goes sour next week due to a certain Whale no doubt you both and few others will primly tell everybody on here "we have to move on".............experts my arse

Genuine typo, look at their positions on the keyboard. You just plain don't know the English language and then blame it on being on a coach full of Trust hooligans

I don't give a monkey's WHAT TYPE of footbaall we play , I dont care if it's boring defensive style, just as long as we get points, playing so called 'good football' is ok but, you have to be very, very. good to play like this, if your not, you can play this 'good football' all the way to thr Conference, It's results that bring the fans in, not the style you play, just take a look at Chelsea, the play 'good football' when going forward, but they take a hell of a lot braking down at the back, but look at the money they have, as Bowen said when we were relegated from the top dIvision, 'I wish I had CHELSEA'S MONEY' and that was BEFORE the Russian went there! Srong at the back, tough in midfield with a touch of flair, sharp up front, that will do me.
