If a lot of you people reckon we'll go up/win the league/get in the playoffs then it shouldn't matter who this outfit get in as manager. We should beat them at home.
This !
To achieve anything we need runs of results and after tuesday any repeat of the Newport debacle will be unacceptable. Consistency required.

You too eh? I like to think I live my life as a rational person. No religion, no lucky socks, no special match day routines, but I can't help hesitating making that mark on the coupon.

As a rule of thumb whenever the cobblers have a decent result they get a decent attendance for the next match and then they fail to turn up and the game is a let down.
This has been the case as far back as I remember.
If the cobblers break this hoodoo today then we can all start to get a little excited.
As for putting it on the coupon, history suggests an accrington win and a feeble cobblers performance.

Two feeble performances in three games with Chris Wilder as our manager? Nah,I can't see him allowing that to happen.

I'd be very pleasantly suprised if we could match the high standards of Tuesday this early in the season but the strong team unity amongst this squad have me believing that, injuries and loans allowing, we will see more of the like the other side of Christmas when the team have had a few months of getting to know each others game better. They will no doubt give their all so here's hoping.
I'm particularly liking the sense of fun the squad seem to have as seen in tweets, photo's and short films out there. Kaid Mohammed seems to be at the centre of a lot of them, obviously the team clown which should give him even more credit for that outstanding performance and work rate on Tuesday.
Hold on tight and enjoy folks, this could be a hell of a ride.

Anything less than a 10-0 win will be rubbish.

Might actually attend this game.
First visit to sixfields in ages.
It will be interesting to see if the match day experience has changed as my main reason for not attending was that I was finding afternoons at sixfields a bad experience.
From paying to park a car that was then broken into despite being told the car park was manned during the match to poor customer service in a bar you couldn't get near let alone served in,to very poor half time food and very poor onfield product.
It will be interesting to see what's changed.
It would be nice to look forward to home games again rather than just away games which I always enjoy.
Here's hoping tayn turn up for this one!!

Well we won 5-1 the other night, is that enough of a change to your "matchday experience"?

Yes that's superb and being able to get back to find your cars not been broken into afterwards(and paying for the privelidge)would also help.
Won't be bothering with the supporters bar or half time food(il take my own).
Is carrs bar run a lot better now and is the catering edible/better value?

Dunno. I go to a football match, not a restaurant.

Your car can get broken into anywhere, take it up with Northants police. I believe they are the agency responsible for crime.

I didn't bother lets be honest they'd just give you a crime number.
I guess what I should have done was take it up with the club after paying money and being falsely told by their employees that the car park was manned during a game.
Anyway I've learned that you might as well park elsewhere for nothing rather than pay to have your car broken into,as you say it can happen anywhere its just I don't like paying for it!!
I'm also with you on the food,il take my own rather than risk the half time snacks.
As for the football I'm sure it must be an improvement on the previous shambles.
You get decent players you usually do better.
Anyway I'm sure il jinx things today Roll Eyes

I just looked and we've only scored 5 times this century!!!!!

You'd think it was more?

Anyway, the last two times we scored 4 goals was against the same opponents?

Any guesses?

Yes, Accrington Stanley.

4-0 today.

Only five times this century! But Drilling said there goals in this team.  No wonder we didn't do very well last season.

Marvo, I think you missed a crucial word out.
