Not sure any more, but isn't Robertson a centre back playing out of position at left back, where he's more likely to get shown up for lack of pace? Alfei, however, is supposed to be a future Prem right back just topping up on experience before the big time!

He played for Chesterfield at Full Back but more recently for Crewe at Centre Back...

A bit of balance perhaps: I thought yesterday that both their no 18 and 19 were i) bloody annoying ii) very good players. Hadn't realised though that they were both new loan signings, from Blackburn and West Ham. The loan system, whole other topic....

Just not good enough with defending, it's an insult to schoolboy's to  call it 'school boy defending' it was much worse than that.

Bloody hell, you guys weren't kidding when you said the defending was bad, were you?! Not even an attempted tackle.

I've missed the last three games so perhaps have a different perspective to most.
How can the keeper be our main problem? You need to get through our defence first. Keepers are never the main problem.
Cresswells introduction would seem to have unbalanced the back four, was this signing really needed? Was Tozer considered as CB  and if not, why not?
You can do as much homework on the opposition as you like, but if they sign two last minute quality loan wingers that goes straight out the window.
Perhaps Wilder should stick to playing his own game in future instead of responding to other sides supposed strengths, especially at home.
I'd agree about Alfie, is there something in his loan agreement stating he must play?
If K Mo is played  out of position, does he morph into Brennan Dickenson?
What happens when Rico's goals dry up, as they will? Yes, i know we have goals from other areas of the team, I think CW should have been thinking about another striker, not getting another defender in, a couple of weeks ago.
All about opinions I suppose.

Having slept on it, My view on the game hasn`t changed. We looked like a side that was still playing Hartlepool and just turned up expecting them to roll over and die. Defence bar Collins was dreadful and i just hope we get this game out our heads to turn up against Morecombe.
Accrington Stanley, the club that wouldnt f*** off.

I don't think Rico will continue to score for fun, history tells us that (stats are your thing right?) and I don't suppose he will be without injury this season, so yes I would have welcomed, and would still welcome another striker in preference to Cresswells signing.

Tozer in at right back for Alfei.
Diamond in at centre back with Cresswell.
Collins over to left back (I still prefer him there) for Robertson until Horwood fit.
Quality back 4.
Give the midfield a stern reminder that if they don't track back they'll be subbed off immediately. Plenty of options there.

Now just the goalkeeper to sort...

would'nt mind betting that if the defence is sorted out the goal keeper crisis will mellow.

Being right on the goals front offers no comfort for me this evening, would much rather have seen a scrappy 1-0 win!

I still honestly believe we will win this league though.

I reckon we'll only afford to lose another 4 or 5 out of the next 37 to do that. We've lost 3 from 9 so need a pretty instant improvement.

The defence would be sorted a lot quicker, with a commanding goalkeeper who talks to those infront of him and is capable of making the occasional save.
I think archer made 1 save yesterday, a pretty straightforward weak shot, which he almost made a total mess of.
