If he doesn't drop Alfei for the next game then serious questions need to be asked about the reasons behind his selection.
Of course that will depend on how he plays (should he be selected) and what the result of the game is. Just saying like.

Some managers just wear a set of blinkers when it comes to certain players , in fact it happens generally in life !! we all know one !

Just watched Gregor Robertson on Cobblers player. He was asked how he would deal with Bayo. He said he wouldn't get be able to beat him physically and thought it best to let him have the ball when facing away from goal... Hmmm?

He's right. He won't be able to out muscle him. It's about getting round him and winning the second ball

Am I the only one that finds this Langmead saga rather laughable. Two weeks ago WC wanted him out, making him available for loan without even giving him a sniff of first team/cup football. Subsequent injuries resulted in him needed to start last week, reading WCs post match comments and interviews he was pretty blown away by Langmeads level of performance who now 'has the shirt to lose'.
I find it pretty staggering that our manger would happily ship out a fans favourite, former captain and general workhorse without taking a good look at him first. Why expose Tozer at CB in the tin pot cup at Orient when Langers was waiting in the wings ready to prove himself?

I guess it's hard to prove yourself in training, you need the real deal. If you are third/fourth in line you may never get that chance, it's a bit of a lottery. Be glad that Langers did. I'm sure Wilder will be.
Had he gone on loan and made a few strong performances I'm sure he'd have got his chance back here at some point.
