£23 in advance Boycott the greedy sods, also our game at Stevenage has been given higher admission banding, one of 5 games in which away supporters will be fleeced for £24.00 !!

For the premium seats maybe! Bury are playing at Exeter this weekend, their site is showing Exeters prices as £16 standing and £21 seating (both increase by £1 on the day)

Cheltenham overcharged us last season, my 89 year old grandad offered to pay on the gate so they fleeced him for 3 adult price tickets. Should have been 1 Senior, 1 adult and a student. Didn't realise until I asked to reimburse the cost at the pub later that evening. I know this probably has happened to other people at other grounds and such but i'd watch out for it (or buy in advance from the club).
However for us, the cost overall is the same as coming to sixfields £32 for myself and my dad compared to £36 for a home game.
Putting us as a "Category 'A' game" though is laughable, should be reserved for local matches and big cup games, I guess it's just an easy way to extract more money from fans who support some of the clubs with larger followings.

Surely this is what the supporters trust movement nationally is designed to combat/pressure clubs into reductions?

Proves though that the prices that NTFC charge are about on par. Pretty much every club in league 2 charges circa 20quid for entry...some a quid or two less, some a little more. We all know it's too expensive but for it to change, more cash needs to work it's way down from the top. That's where the problem starts. Clubs in this league don't make a profit, most make a loss...all we do is subsidise it. Putting it in perspective, sky charges 60plus quid for sports package a month. That works out at not much more over the course of a year than if a supporter of a league2 team attended every match. Blame Thatcher!

If you are paying £60 a month for the sports package alone on Sky, you're being mugged off.

Great suggestion - Just what our team needs at the moment no support I think away support only helps minimally, Infact large home support doesn't guarantee results as nearly 5000 home supporters witnessed the capitulation again Stanley! However the home gates help finances, but large away support goes directly into the coffers of rivals! I would like to see an agreed minimum rate for travelling supporters in recognition of the expense of travelling and enhancing the match day atmosphere, pre bought tickets could be set at £15.00 for visiting fans.

Or even an 'agreed maximum rate.'

I think there should be an agreed maximum ticket price in each division which is set in conjunction with supporters trusts and enforced by the football league / premier league.
I believe max prices (remember for the best seats in the house) should be: £50 Prem £35 Championship £25 L1 £20 L2 £15 Conference

I can afford it = Go
I can't afford it = Stay at home
What's the issue???
It would be good for many young families who are forced to reluctantly take your 2nd option, to be given help to attend. 1000 family seats per match at discounted prices can only be a good thing in the long run.

It's an issue of if it is fairly priced rather than being able to afford it.

I understand why they are doing this.
I can afford it.
I will not be going all the same.
