Good for him. I listened to the Gary Johnson post match interview with interest. He sounds like a tired and broken old man now.

The same old bull from Jhonson, the players fault (HE SIGNED THEM) Nothing to do with him of course.

If they are successful against Canvey Island in their replay how about Havant & Waterlooville with JJ Hooper and Alan Connell against Preston?

Havant & Waterlooville beat Canvey Island 3-0 last night to set up the Preston game...

Prices have been reduced to £12 for the Rochdale game - applies in advance and on the day.

Good move, attendance will still be poor though!

In that case what was the point?

Please tell me of all the decisions DC has made in his tenure this wasn't the one that turned the tide and made you question his judgement!

You really have got it in for the chairman! Perhaps having got us out of the mire last season counts for nothing.

What the hell are you on about? My initial contribution was a positive one regarding the price drop, followed by a light-hearted dig at another poster.

I have grave concerns about our chairman that I have aired ad nauseum in other places and won't keep repeating because quite frankly I'm far too busy and have better things to do... I wasn't venting them here, the opposite in fact.

Jog on.

Good move by both clubs to reduce the prices, credit where due. Although probably still wont be a good attendance it will still encourage people to attend who might not have done.My son and i can attend for less than a normal adult matchday ticket, can't be bad, unless we get well beaten .

Fair play to them on the prices, still won't go though.

What the hell are you on about?

Your last few posts have been one long moan - was the Chairman, now its Wilder and this from a bloke who would play a one legged player in the side Huh?
What the hell are you on about?

Its just that it came across as a touch sarcastic - you can hardly blame me given your negative record on the chairman.

Nice gesture this. I think it may be a sign from the club that some positive PR is required.
We got half price tickets via our local club for this Saturday, so effectively that elusive £30 family deal! The result will be 8 tickets sold for the next two fixtures rather than none.

So on that basis we can expect a sell out then, at least in the home ends?

Dunno but it ticks my boxes.
Being realistic I think they know they'll lose money on it as they won't almost double the crowd. This points towards it being more of a PR move, though Dale must have agreed to it.
It could also be connected to the amount of away ties we've had recently.

Home game the week before and the Cambridge 'derby' following it more like!

2500 becomes 3200. Yep, they will lose in the short term. But not in the long term if they hadn't of reduced it. No brainer business decision!

Not the draw I wanted, but I am spoilt for choice between Portsmouth v Aldershot, Gosport v Colchester or Havant & Waterlooville v Preston.

Spoilt for choice!  Bollocks to that, some dangerous brains have been at work resulting in Sunday 14.00 kicks offs for Portsmouth and Gosport and a Monday 20.00 kick off for Havant.

Three games on in the area I'm going to be in and not one kicks off at 3 o'clock Saturday.

Looking further afield, Eastleigh are at home to the mighty Lincoln or I could spend the afternoon in the pub trying to understand what rugby is all about.
