The two I buy in the East went up by £60 over last season even with the early purchase discount. The club also withdrew the free parking bolt on which they offered the year before.
I'd call that a increase.

Two ST - you must be loaded! Just go to Away games for one x OAP it will be a lot cheaper. Not sure about your micro economics though....why two ST's??

I'm way above the average, £22 and five pints of premium lager in Carr's bar minimum! (now available in beautiful plastic glasses) Reckon I come in at £41.25. The price of a day at the cobblers has increased big time, not just the ticket price but the swillage.

I never eat at the ground either. Don't really understand why people feel the need to.

I also don't pay to park as there are plenty of free places to go.

I buy a prog and a hot drink (total outlay of £5) on a matchday + my season ticket = £495 for the season.

Add in petrol plus 4/5 away days and you're pushing £650+.

first point is exemplary
second & third point - Don't buy a programme and take your own hot flask
If you have to use a car for away games share the petrol - there are generally always takers like CoolCat (thinks it's him) for instance or:
4th point Use the coach, you can be picked up en route; like they do when picking up MK supporters via M1.
Must be cost saving somewhere in above. Go for it Cool

Where do they keep the premium lager hidden in Carr's Bar?! Grin

I didn't say I was looking for a cost saving or that it is an excessive sum. I can afford it, thankfully.

I also should've added I haven't bought a replica shirt for over 6 years. I have a toffs.com cotton shirt which is much better quality and never gets out of date.

Oh and with the coaches, I used to use them a lot when I was a teenager as it was before I could drive and when I did learn I didn't have my own car till I graduated.

Fair play to the travel clubs, they are excellent value and good days out.

However I'm now living to the south of MK, am time poor and like to be able to leave for an away game when I like, take the route I like and do what I like before and after. I also don't fancy sitting on the motorway at 55mph anymore.

Is a flask one of the few things not on the list of banned items?

You can't take a bottle of cola in with a lid, how is a whacking great Thermos allowed?

Well this sentence "Northampton Town are the dearest for match-day tickets, charging £22" proves that this article is bollocks, because Cheltenham on Saturday is £23 for starters.

I have large back pack to hold an equally large thermo and never had a problem with security at any match I attend. Mind you I don't quite look like some of the toughs you get at certain away games so maybe age and appearance gets me through.

People a few rows infront of me take a flask in with them. Might be allowed due to people are probably Lees likely to throw a flask onto the pitch whereas a bottle people do.

This survey is not very accurate , as someone has already pointed out Cheltenham are charging us £23 on Saturday despite the dearest price being £21 according to this survey and match day price at Hartlepools is £25 for away fans not £20 . I think we are pretty much "middle of the road" for League 2 prices when you compare what you get at Sixfields compared to say Accrington. And we don't rip away fans off ,they get charged exactly the same as home fans . The survey says you can get in at Morecambe for £16 but that's only if they decide to open the standing area and quite a few of the cheap clubs prices are for uncovered standing. The pies at Kidderminster get a bit of a slagging for being £4.50 when anyone who's ever eaten one knows they are the best food at any football ground.

Last Saturday I spent £20 on a Northampton ticket, and £55 on a Book of Mormon ticket. Using that as a comparison, I'd say that's good value for 90+ minutes of live entertainment.

And what else is there to do at 3pm...?

Book of Mormon v NTFC ; a musical v tragedy. Phew what a comparison! Classy choice though Grin
