Another bad call but a brave one. Wilder must have know this would be unpopular surely?.  Langmead  is a fighter and a leader and we need him on OUR team sheet.

its very easy to blame players/manager/chairman when we have a run of four defeats
yeah. it is. and there's a reason why.

The problem is, you lot are all remembering Langers from how he was, Wilder is seeing him how he is.

Best let the manager make these decisions, unless you're not intending to blame him if it all goes haywire.

His persistence with Alfei and Archer. Not giving Moyo a minutes game time since he scored twice in less than 2 hours. Playing Carter on the left of midfield. The ludicrous amount of injuries suffered during training including 3 'back injuries' in less than a month. Playing Rico in a pointless cup match on his way back from fitness (and before someone says, quite often when a player returns from an injury the same happens on the other side of the body). Swapping right backs when 1-0 down at home. Taking O'Toole off at Luton which totally turned the game in my opinion culminating in a late winner for them.

I could go on...but in the last 3 or 4 weeks his decision making has been 'questionable' in my view...

Last time we had a big win at Sixfields was 6:2 over Crewe in 2011. We did not win in the league until May!

I'll bet my arsehole he doesn't go out on loan as a centre forward.

There's a reason he gave up playing up front 10 years ago and it wasn't because he got bored putting the ball in the net!

The reason was that he wasn't very good.
Don't understand this obsession with playing him upfront , he's not a striker and his goals for us have mostly come from CB.
Maybe sending him out will free up some cash for a proper striker which we have sadly lacked since Richards got his inevitable injury.

Wilder has completely lost the f*cking plot.

He was excellent for us until around 5 weeks ago, couldn't fault too many of his decisions at all - he seemed to see what we all saw and acted accordingly.

Then SOMETHING seems to have happened.

What the f*ck is he on at the moment?!

I'd have a one-legged Kelvin Langmead on the pitch above the majority of defenders we have used in the last month and it'd be an improvement. I'd have Langmead in my team above Cresswell too without hesitation.

Cresswell's signing has done far more harm than good and will continue to do so in the long run IMO. We are seeing the results of that now.

Cresswell was outstanding at Luton and has also attracted MOM in other games so clearly you are at odds with some of our support. Langmead is not a centre forward - he is an emergency player. Much more relevant is his general overall fitness - he is injury prone. Also I don't think he is the same player he was prior to the injury which was a serious one. I think it is best to say "lets move on"

How do you know if he is " the same player he was prior to the injury"? We have only seen him for a few minutes against Burton and he looked very good, mobile, effective and fit for those minutes to me. Have you been watching him play for the reserves or for someone else?

Langmead is not a centre forward

I never, ever said he was.

RE: Cresswell I have seen the majority of his games for us and he has yet to convince me. Being one of the better performers amid the complete garbage of the past month isn't really much of an accolade. I'd have Langmead in my team every time if it came down to a choice between the two.

Is there anyone on here who would honestly rather have Robertson at CB than even an 80% fit Kelvin Langmead? Because that's what we are going to be stuck with now for another month at least.

F*cking madness.

Just pray he doesn't give Robertson the job of marking Bayo on Saturday.

I doubt Robertson would be anywhere near close enough to Bayo to get flattened if he was!

Being splattered would be a sure sign of improvement...

Robertson played ok at Luton - wouldn't surprise me in the least if he marked Bayo out of the game. Tubbs is a more realistic danger man. Some of you are like a bunch of old women when it comes to Bayo - I have seen him have ineffectual games before like the one against Gillingham couple of years ago.
You both make negativity sound fashionable. Not so long on here it was stated that Bayo was a busted flush and we should move on.

I've also seen him have games where he's totally dominated the opposition.Lets hope someone slips something into his Nando's  Smiley
