The way they are going they will be non league at the end of the season - they only scraped it last season as well.
i thought they were going to run away with league after reading about their performance at sixfields last season

To be fair Barnet looked very good at Sixfields last season, they played some good football and I was shocked how they went into free fall in the end

Do you live in stevenage? I know a few of thier fans and Im surprised they havn't got more fans flocking to Broadhall way, they waited years to get league football and thought they would attract some of the thousands of local Arsenal/Spurs fans.
Hello sbedscobb, No, I live in Welwyn Garden City, but most of my local friends are 'sort of' Stevenage fans, you now the types, don't go to watch them, but will give me lots of stick if we loose, but I have been dishing some out recently, as a very good friend of mine who live close to me is a serious Liverpool fan! When we won that game he shouted 'any other side but not the cobblers oh no!!' When we play Stevenage away I will be there, even if I have to walk it!!! Best Wishes. Pat.

Stevenage is closer to me than Sixfields is, this will be a first for me

Now we know we have Osman available for Saturday we can now concentrate on Barnet away. With the trip so easy I hope we take the usual large numbers and create the usual noise in the side terracing (unless we have been moved again!) Hopefully Sammo will be positive with his team selection and play McKenzie and ANother up front, also Hall at left back so Davis can be more influencial further forward. The problem is scoring goals not the defence.

The problem WAS the defence though, now he has that sorted no point in changing it! Just needs to work out the magic formula for goals and job done, we'll win the league.

No were still on the side, so hopefully we'll make some noise. Wouldn't count on us taking more than about 500. We're getting to the time of year when money is tighter than normal and I suspect most people will choose Hillsborough the following week as it will be a new ground for most.

Have to agree with this - for all that we were poor, Barnet did look very good at Sixfields last season and were doing well at the time...I don't know what happened, but they seemed to go into free fall soon after. It wasn't like, say, Walsall the season before (?), who looked really poor but still beat us we were that bad.

Raise funds to fit Leon up with a bionic leg so he can play every week?

That's a touch pricey for 19 miles! It shows what good value we get from all the the Cobblers' travel clubs.

Probably took them 90 minutes to do those 19 miles - perhaps they were paying by the hour

Can't wait. Arrive at Euston early doors, Lots of beer in Camden, up to Barnet for a hopefully decent away performance and back down into London for more beer. Did I mention beer?
