i'm a big fan of this kid. i dont see why Guinan gets bought on and not him ?
Akon has pace to burn and skill similar to Jacobs, his first touch is class and we all saw his turning ability when he scored the 3rd goal against Reading.
But correct me if im wrong but he hasnt played since ?
why bring Guinan on, someone with 0 passion, someone who by the way he plays doesn't want to be here and someone the crowd dont like when you can bring on Akon ?
just tell him to use his pace and close down there defenders ?
im not saying start him but maybe use him as a sub ? Guinan is getting playing time that Akon needs to build experience
how can a young striker break into the team with retiring players in there way

Tend to agree, there are times when I'd have expected him to come on...but I know nothing of his temperament and presumably Sammo does. It is easy to wreck a youngster's confidence, but of course the other side of the argument is that if they've got what it takes, then a bit of adversity and challenge will bring it out. |

I know totally lost aswell, as far as i can gather they've put Alex Konstantinou's first initial and the beginning part of his surname together to get the name of the oh so talented R&B sensation that is Akon. hmmmm....  |
