Replay against Gillingham with 17 year old Belfon coming off the bench to score twice. It gave us a home tie against the then European Cup holders. Cracking atmosphere at the County Ground that night.

How old were you fella?..Littlehampton..one of the dodgiest trips ever...arrived by train at 11am (early start from Leicester!!!)..into Dolphin pub..loads of their's gradually filling place up (Brighton lads I think)...ended up at some remote pub..right from station...after 150 said Brighton roaming round after..took a sharp left into housing estate..evasive action! Grin

Stayed overnite in Bognor..Golfy n Caddy had room booked..I didn't...they went to get food..I stayed put in dark room..Guesthouse owner comes in room..me lying on bed...goes out..then hear him say "how many went out, there's another on in there''...sneaked out at for sh*te night in Bognor..then hared it out in the morning..bouncing down the street!

Littlehampton, I must have been about 16/17.  When was it, 91?  Yeah, 17.  I went on the Mounties that day, sadly we went stright there and back though, can't even remember a pub stop.

Really enjoyed the FA Cup highlights show on ITV on Saturday, nice to see the whole first round covered instead of given five minutes at the end of Match of the Day.  It showed the real romance of the cup with upsets like Dover winning at Gilligham and Tamworth beating Crewe.  Magic moments.

I didn't go to FGR so I set sky+ for FA Cup highlights and was glad that they seemed to show all goals, 3 good goals by Cobblers especially Johnson's and good to see Guinan score I really hope it gives him confidence and he scores a few more!

Yeah I forgot about Dunn's penalty save, a good save rather than a poor penalty!

Another away day one...Gills away before winning the replay and getting Villa at home.

We just got onto that big old terrace at Priestfield just before kick off and had a right tidy bunch of lads with us. Some Gills boys down in the bottom left corner decided it was time to test our resolve.....it was a bad move as everyone went straight at them. As far as I know two people got arrested.....they just happened to be both our minibus drivers  Shocked
