I mean what on earth is that orange/brown ball about?
I am watching the live game and it is really quite difficult to pick it up against the crowd. What must it be like at a night match?
Some bright spark from the FA paid a fortune has come up with this ridiculous and pointless idea!
Balls should be white, end of story unless...
It snows - Oh I forgot as soon as it snows games are called off for safety reasons!

I totally agree, the ball is horrible and hard to see.  On top of that Giles Coke is playing for Wednesday

They had this on Soccer Am and said it was the 'winter' ball, which as you say is pointless considering if the grass even begins to turn white the game is postponed.

I guess its the same reason to why the premiership ball has gone yellow

The colour of the ball is shocking.

The football League also used to use the yellow ball from November 1st onwards. It is much more clearly visible than that orangey brown thing they used in the FA cup

All the balls used yesterday at FGR sounded under inflated when they were kicked and were difficult to see after the sun went in.

Yellow ball makes sense, Orange/Brown does not.

Aside from the horrible ball the potential for an AFC Wimbledon vs MK Dons clash is the tie of the round. No doubt the TV companies will be willing it to happen. Personally would have liked to see it at Stadium MK. Would have fancied AFC to fill the place with protest voters!

Agreed Luton, would have been good for it to be at MK. Be interesting if they do end up playing each other, whether AFC fans would miss the game as half the gate receipts would go to MK Dons?

Would appear the AFC fans are none too happy about it. Some excellent articles below. Some of the talk about the game not being played on the grounds of being unable to guarantee safety may be a little over the top but there is no doubting the strength of feeling that still rages.

ITV have said they will be televising the tie regardless of the outcome of the two replays. Will serve them right if they now end up showing Ebbsfleet vs Stevenage. Cheesy
