Most of us don't believe you're what we're looking for, but we jolly well hope you prove us wrong.

God help the lad if he ventures anywhere near this forum. He'll be pleading to go back home again

Reminded me a bit of Lee Barnard in build and workrate, plus the fact it doesn't look like he'll score many. More of a harrier/link player, can see him and Leon being useful together though. Wonder if he might be used in midfield if Osman does miss 3 games.

Nothing against the lad, but he's no striker, just a hard-working runner whose distribution and ball control is average.

Definitely the 'workhorse' seemed like he was playing everywhere apart from as astriker. Think at one point he was our furthest player back

Sounds like another Holty, good player to have in the side even if he's not a goalscorer

Not really sure I understand the reasoning behind this signing...especially as he isn't a goalscoring striker. Am I missing something?

I thought he did very well today having just signed. I had more confidence when the ball was played to him rather than McKay. He's not the biggest but he has strength and desire and a decent touch. He'll do well for us.

I thought King did well today. Good hold up play distribution and worked very hard. Can't comment on his goalscoring potential because he had to play as a winger in the 2nd half.

I would say he put in a positive performance so all you moaners should find a new subject.

p.s Richards was crap

I think King was brought in for his work rate and because McKenzie wasn't going to feature today. I reckon another striker will come in..hopefully a goal scorer and hopefully BAYO!

Well, I personally thought Billy was the better of the two. I noticed our centre-halfs thought so too when playing the ball out. I didn't think we were signing players who weren't better than we already have. No offence Kingy, or to your fanclub on here. honest.

I think you are being a bit harsh on the lad.

I'm optimistic that we've got some good footballers at the club and when you look at the mess that is Gillingham rather grateful. Need a goalscorer and then its onwards and upwards

Maybe...just didn't think we were going down that road again. I supported him today and will do each time he pulls on the shirt. As much as I dislike the fact Guinan is using up a large amount of our budget for doing very little I would've played him today based on his performance last saturday. It seems like Leon is back next week so we will end up with King and Guinnan on the bench. It's a nuffink loan signing that we will all forget happened in a couple of months. Bit like all those gray ones towards the end of the relegation season. By the way, I'm still clinging to thoughts of promotion this season...

Might see him paired up with McKenzie next week. Hardworking hold up player paired up with natural goalscorer, could be the ideal pairing.
