I see you can get priority on the Shef Weds game if you are a member of the club.

Are any of you on here members? If so how much does it cost?

I enquired today but the people in the ticket office didn't have much of a clue or any forms.

I reckon if it's a reasonable price and they pushed it a bit the club could sign up a fair few members and bring in some money

Last season I think I paid a fiver (might be a tenner, I can't really remember) to be a member so I could get under 21 tickets (I didn't have a season ticket). My Dad got me the form.

Sure I read somewhere that you can't join up anymore till next season.

It's under a tenner anyway.

I am sure the club stopped people becoming members when we were drawn against Liverpool in the Carling cup so people didn't become members just to jump the Liverpool queue hence the Southend ticket requirement

My guess is that there will be plenty of Sheffield Wednesday tickets left once the season ticket holders have had their pick, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Aha, are you secretly thinking we may get Man Utd in the FA Cup after beating Sheffield Wed., or are you keen to book a Wembley place for the Playoffs? If it's either of these we need to cast you an Optimists Medal!

Just give the club a bell to see if it's still open.

I think you get 5% off in the club shop also.

Thanks Enya. Why don't they just ask if your interested in membership when you buy a ticket and simplify the application process so that they can bring a few quid in. At the moment it seems like some secret society!

I think the membership has been discontinued, much like the ticket bundles. Unprofitable I'd imagine. Bear in mind that a £5 membership entitles you to £4 off the price of an adult ticket if you're under 21. You only need to go to 2 games and they've lost money. If you go to about 10 they've lost quite a bit of money.

The membership hasn't been discontinued, or at least hadn't at the start of the season, as I am a member for this season, although I never received my card, but everytime I have needed to prove it, my receipt has been fine.

It cost me a fiver to get an under 21 membership, allowing me to get under 21 ticket prices for home games and priority for away games. the club did suspend membership before the Liverpool game, to stop fans buying a £5 membership to gain a Liverpool ticket, instead "forcing" them to buy a Southend ticket. The membership is perfect for most fans who attend a fair few games, and who will want priority for big games, but don;t have a seaosn ticket, and I can't beleive more fans don't take it up.

I've got a season ticket now but,

I went to 20 games at home last season with an under 21 membership, that £4 meant I could do that - otherwise I would have missed more than 3 games.

So they haven't lost anything!

I do remember though, the lady at the West Stand ticket booth, used to say i was the only one that ever asked for under 21 tickets - so I do think the club needs to push it a bit more than waht they do.

They don't push it one iota that's why

Do club get on here to resolve these matters? It seems a very easy thing to do?

There is a feedback line on the official NTFC website - I asked 3 questions last week and got 3 good answers back in an hour - great service!

Just a thought to try official route! and get definitive answer.

Sadly, no. They don't come on here any longer.
