Most teams on the racecourse operate without incurring losses. I don't want to watch them and marvel at their financial stability.
I want to watch a football league team in my home town and not worry too much about all the off field machinations and get decent football for a fair price and occasional glory and hope that everything else is ok.
Impossible really but you can hope.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Sorry for the late reply Mr Riches, i forgot to mention that i also posted that the club is being run on the same line as Oxford Utd was a few years back, ie that it is just being left to tick over hoping that a return can be had, when left in this state, which league the club plays in is of no interest to the party running the club.

I think there is a kind of salary cap in League Two - it's 60% max of turnover to go on players' salaries. This can be easily overcome though if, like N£$%s County did last season, you put a sum of money in that isn't really the club's to use but make sure that it keeps the ratio right with the players wages - then just take it out again once you've won promotion....and ship the really expensive players out - that you never could really afford - the next day like casper's, or should that be Kasper's, ghost. It's a gamble...

If memory serves me correct, both Oxford and Luton have higher attendances now.

Obviously Oxford have just escaped form the conference, where as Luton are still in there.

But more profitable? Not sure.

Hate to think of us in the conference, but hold on.....we could form an 'ULTRAS' fan group and sing 'Twist and Shout' and fill up the empty stands with banners!! Just like all the other 'big' teams in the conference! God help us!
