I'd give Snedker a run of games to see what he's all about.
If things work out with him we could our No.1 position sorted for the next couple of years.
I'd much rather he plays than a loan player in goal.
Whilst we're on the subject of loan players. We have 6 of them in our current squad!!! I thought we had learnt our lesson in going down this route and it's no surprise our season is going down the 5hitter.

I've seen him play in most of the games (15 of 21 I've watched us this season) and my point remains....he doesn't communicate with the defence and as such, silly goals are conceded time and time again.
This is particularly evident at set pieces and I believe that is where the biggest defensive issue remains.
In terms of who is the better keeper...if both Duke and Archer had to remain totally silent then Archer for me would win hands down. I do think he's rather decent,
I'm not having a go Drilling, I just HONESTLY don't get what you or anyone else has seen that makes you think he is actually a rather decent keeper. I know this will sound like I'm attacking your comments but I am not, I just don't know what they and a number like them from others are based on. I just don't see it. He's all over the f@cking place. Sometimes he comes, sometimes he stays, sometimes he sprints 15 yards completely unnecessarily and double fisted punches it off the centre back's head. Sometimes he will single fisted punch, sometimes he has a backhand flap, sometimes he will (very occasionally) catch it, but usually at chest height or below. He is weak and timid in the box and gets outmuscled when they stick a corner right under the crossbar, so to speak. For his first 5 or 6 games he honestly didn't make a proper save. I still can't think of a single really, top drawer save he has made in all the games he's played in. I can however think of several goals for which he has to accept a significant proportion of the blame. He has conceded at a rate of over 2 goals a game over his Cobblers career and presided over a shocking run of defensive form, the start of which has almost completely coincided with his inclusion. He is highly inexperienced, lacks any presence whatsoever and instills zero confidence in both his team mates and own supporters. He also isn't even our own player. Waiting in the wings we have the absolute opposite to almost all of these charges. How can his inclusion possibly be justified? The prosecution rests...

I'll try then.. He sometimes punches single handed and sometimes two handed. He sometimes takes it off his centre back and sometimes catches.... all in the same way any decent outfield player will use both sides of his main foot and occasionally his standing foot to strike the ball. He is weak and timid... he is not the biggest of keepers, thats probably why he will only catch at chest level, when he considers it safe to do so. Sometimes he comes, sometimes he stays sometimes he sprints 15 yards... He's more athletic than Duke, and his decision making on when to come and when to stay is better. He's' presided over a shocking run of defensive form. No he hasnt, he has been much less blameworthy than the 4 in front of him. He lacks any presence. . Hmmm, he seems appropriately vocal from my vantage point. He's not our own. Agreed! And a priority of mine would have been to replace Duke close season. The defence rests for now.

Or since Cresswell signed?
In most games I have seen Cresswell he has been pretty good. Rochdale fans thought he was good and said the game turned when he went off.

I think Cresswell is a top defender in L2.
I believe our main problem defensively is a) how we defend as a team and b) how many crosses we allow to come in to our box

Nothing wrong with Cresswell - big asset. We just need Diamond back asap.

Did I hit a nerve here? I didn't express an opinion on Cresswell (I did that previously), I was pointing out the downturn in results also coincides with his move to Sixfields.

More to do with Richards/Diamond being injured in my opinion. We would have been a shambles without Cresswell when Collins was injured as well.
