Yes but we lost our 3 home league games before that (2 against struggling sides) conceding 10 goals in the process.

In the past 8 days we have been knocked out of 2 cups and meekly surrendered in a local derby.

Anyone trying to defend the team's current form is frankly a muppet.

This will be the making of our season.

I'm really disappointed but we can't just vote with our feet as someone suggested. We need to get behind them, starting again with Stevenage Saturday. We have to try and keep this November run in perspective. We have won one and drawn one at home and lost three away, two of those to higher league opposition. After 17 games last season York had 19 points and ended up in the play offs. It can be done, but not with negativity.

Ha ha good one, you got no chance with Roberts, you can have our captain Jake wright as we've now signed Dunkley from Kidderminster

This will be the making of our season.

Yeah you're probably right....it's not like the £18,000 prize money for first round winners would have come in handy....nor the trip to conference side Aldershot with another £27,000 in prize money up for grabs, not to mention a potentially lucrative 3rd round draw.

I'm sure mr Cardoza is happy we are out of the cup so as we can concentrate on finishing 12th in the league instead of 17th!

I'd settle for 12th.

Last time Rochdale knocked us out the FA Cup I think we won about one game in the rest of the season and we got relegated!

And I ruined some Adidas trainers I got for Xmas standing on what they called a terrace...

I could but don't feel the need to. He/she seems to understand the way to give and take banter, never a bad thing in my book.

One day you will learn that I am actually everyone else who posts on here other than the nom de plumes that you control yourself of course.   Wink

Very decent of you but your last sentence was a bit of a muddle - but maybe , just maybe I got the drift of it. You do realize as Marvo has probably correctly pointed out that there are some on here who have more than one alias. Surprised that you haven't worked it out Roll Eyes

How on the earth would Marvo know. Unless he's alluding to his own form on in that particular area...  Grin Grin

Fortunately I'm not Cardoza!

I really have such a minor interest in our cup competitions, so would much rather have a fitter/fresher team in the games I actually attend. I'll let Cardoza worry about the finances... not like it gets reinvested in the playing squad (what I actually get to see!).

Yep. I think we were handily placed in what would be League 1 now with them languishing in the bottom division. We had a shocker, got gubbed 3-0 and the season fell apart. It pi$$ed down the whole game and we were stood on a mound of shale. Probably one of my worst ever away days actually and there's been plenty.

Actually, I've probably only made about 18 games in the last four seasons and I can't recall seeing us win!
