Keith Stroud for this one, his last Cobblers game was at Wembley although you probably can't count that one because we didn't turn up!  Must have been so disappointing to be appointed to a game at Wembley and have that happen. Prior to Wembley he reffed us in the home 1-1 draw to Gillingham in April 2012.

Isn't it good to be lost in the wood?

Yes, I think it will be fine. If anything it should fire him up a little. He has seen what he could one day (not to soon) achieve so that may help hone his ambition a little. There should be a few more football scouts in the stands as well and he will know this.

It didn't take O'Toole 94 minutes to go on strike here.

I'm looking forward to it  Smiley After the negativity through the week, it'll be nice to actually worry about whats happening on the pitch.

Hoping to see Richards and Sinclair starting today. After all it looks more and more likely that they are going to have to form a partnership sooner rather than later.
If Ivan departs in the next month or so they and Moyo are what we are left with and they need to start firing together soon.
Toney or maybe even Moyo from the bench if it doesn't work.

Seems like we had to agree to JJ being selected for these upcoming games against Southend, otherwise deal off. Guess CW really wanted him away, if he scores and they win he's going to look pretty daft!

I heard it was the other way round: we said Southend could have JJ on the condition that he played against us, slow, lazy and unfit as he is. A fat JJ and Gary Deegan against us in centre mid is hardly a scary proposition.

That may well be true, but if he scores and they win we look stupid.

This will be a good test for our defence, to see how much they have improved, let's hope we get a couple of goals and keep a clean sheet! Having said that, iI would take a draw now

Fifth placed team at home to a side in 14th in poor form. If it was any other two teams involved you say home banker!

Great to see Hornby back, bench looks better than most of the starting 1.
