Do you feel confident enough to guarantee we'd get a rich bloke? If so, I'm sure everyone would be prepared to help you get Cardoza out.

The only guarantee in life is that you'll come back with some sniping post as per usual!

You make a sweeping, far reaching statement and go like a f***ing girl if anyone disagrees.

Can you guarantee someone rich would take over if Cardoza left? Now - no shrieking, eh?

Of course I couldn't guarantee it!

Yet there are those on here who believe that Cardoza is the saviour and if he pulled the plug nobody would ever come in and take us over!

So that was a rather reckless and foolhardy statement, eh?

Quick question Cricket, were you dropped on your head as a child or is it a progressive disease that you suffer from?

You are quite right - so you can let the dark side have the bragging rights.

No!! Wtf are you on about! The subject has been talked about on here countless times and there are a number of posters who have said that nobody would take the club on and if it wasn't for the Cardozas we'd be/have been out of business ages ago....

That's not a foolhardy statement, it's a fact!! People have said it....fact!

I'm sorry you're illogical. You suggested that, because a Russian billionaire took over Bournemouth, someone would have taken over us if Cardoza hadn't arrived. You imply, should he leave, that someone else would come along.

You also misquote people. What they have really said is - we were waving buckets around until he took over and nobody else has yet come along making a takeover offer public.

If you feel the need to continue your immature 'banter', take yourselves off for your own tete-a-tete using the PM service provided or meet and get a room?
A continuation will result in you both 'having a rest' from the board altogether.

Very nicely put your highness. That will be an end to my immature 'banter' of that you can be certain. The only fly in the ointment is as you can see from the above few posts if my nemesis and I keep stumm you will have a void promptly filled with utter bollocks from some other posters.

At least our banter was lighthearted.  Cry

Back on topic then......

I will never buy a season ticket at Northampton ever again (not an option for me). I will however get to as many games as I can. I suspect that Cobbler78 is the tip of an ever growing iceberg.

On topic - I think I might still renew my ST as I didn't buy it to watch one player or on the provision that a new stand was built by the 1st October.
Yes we are not great but the squad is not the worst I've ever seen and investment in Cresswell, Richards and even JJ has given some hope.

Saying that once was nice but to repeat it brought a tear to my eye.

Bit disappointed myself with the make up of the squad, fed up watching an endless supply of loan players coming to the club. A couple of long term loaners are fine. But six or seven. Really Huh??

At one time this season we had a better team out injured than we had on the pitch.

It's all circumstantial, no long term injuries, no loans.

Well, maybe a couple.

Added it up earlier and after 24 games this season we have already got through 27 players! Assuming Banks plays at the weekend it will be 28 in 25.

How many of those 27 players have been injured at one point or another this season?

That's the same as Luton and Cambridge, less than Carlisle and Accrington.

I only had time to check 12 teams, early start tomorrow.

Point is, what has the injury situation been like for those clubs that have used less players?

PS: On soccerbase it says we've already used 28 players this season.

I make that 27, have I missed anyone? As for injuries, probably about 7 that have always been available during thier time with us: Tozer, Byrom, Stevens, Ravenhill ?, Murdoch, Toney, Moyo (and yes, I am aware 3 of those are loans!) Can't remember any of those being unavailable at any point apart from Moyo's international duty.

Named on the bench but unused this season:
Jackson
Roberts
Warburton
Snedker
