I take it back done a bit more research it think it will be Sarcevic from Fleetwood meets the criteria plus hasn't started last couple of games. Didn't even consider him as I rate him very highly

Must be with a view to a permanent deal in Jan. played 15 games this season, clearly (was) highly regarded at Chesterfield, seems strange they would loan him out.

Just back from an injury and getting to match fitness, I doubt we've got a deal to sign him in January.

Would be nice though... if he's good. Wilder probably brought him in to man mark the immense threat Southend have in midfield (O'Toole)

I really, really want to see Ravenhill set on JJ from the start on Saturday, clatter into him a few times early on....

Ravenhill is the obvious candidate to leave at this moment in time.  A lot of central midfielders ahead of him and his form has been poor for some time in my opinion.

Nicholls it is!

Takes him to the end of his contract with us so I'd suggest we've probably seen him play his final game in a Cobblers shirt.

This was always going to happen. His only hope here was when Richards got injured but he never took his chance.
Thanks for your efforts in claret and it was great to see that goal.

One player guaranteed a good reception.

What an idiotic decision. Wilder has taken leave of his senses for sure.

Toney's on his way sooner or later which leaves Richards as our only senior striker!

Does he seriously rate Sinclair above Nicholls? Give me a break...

Agreed. Really sorry to see Nicholls leave. It seems pretty short sighted to me, we're one injury away from having bugger all up front now.

Without the emotional attachment we all have to Alex I'd imagine Wilder probably (and quite rightly) thinks he can get something better when Toney moves on given the transfer window will be open by then.

The transfer window opens in 5 games time (and presumably we have a recall option on Alex anyway) so I can't agree that we need to keep him from the perspective of squad depth.

We've done the right thing by him over the last 2 and a half years but Wilder clearly isn't going to be using him as a long-term first choice player, there's little point pretending otherwise.
