Thanks for taking Ryan Jarvis.
Sorry to disappoint but he's no more than conference / BS South standard. Poor touch, lightweight and generally pretty crap. Might flatter to deceive for a few games but he's rubbish.
Once again - apologies for us offloading him on you.

Sorry to disappoint but he's no more than conference / BS South standard. Thats alright he'll tie us in nicely then, were currently putting plans into place to play at conference level soon anyway, were just in the middle of discussing the profitable aspects to it as we speak.

Don’t lie; he must be a decent striker otherwise Sampson wouldn’t have gone near him... Unless of course our manager is completely clueless and doesn’t actually know what he’s doing..?

shades of gray...whatever happened to loan players that had to meet the "better than we have already got" criteria. we are desperate for goals and we have signed 2 'strikers' who have scored around 6 goals in 50 / 60 games between 'em!

None of those fans say he is any good, most worry about lacking numbers in ther own squad and needing someone else to make up the numbers!

I liked the bit about "Scotty knocking on" - bloody hell, he looked like he'd left his legs behind when he came back to us on loan from Wycombe that time, but good luck to him for keeping going, and for that quite bizarre Nintendo ad!
I read those comments on Jarvis as quite mixed - that there might be a decent enough player there but he's lost his way a litle bit and needs first team football. Sometimes players need a change of scene to get moving again - I went to Colchester v Brentford on Tuesday night (don't ask!) and Ian Henderson is now playing in a key role for Colchester, ever-present, highly rated..after being quite possibly the biggest waste of a 2-year contract we've ever had.

maybe SG should have played him in his natural position on a regular basis, same with pop larkin. Both now continuiing to ply their trade at a better level than the club is at.

I'd love to see Larkin back here. But I think that says more about the state we're in than about Colin himself. An average player in an average crop when he was here, but would be one of our best attacking options now.

But I would love someone to tell me the last time we took on a striker that can't score for toffee and turned him into a goal machine.
Very true, sadly we have a knack of it being the other way around.
