Haven't been to Carlisle for a few years now and hoped to make this game with a couple of nights in the Lake District... best laid plans and all that. Cobblers Player for me unfortunately.

Similar story to you Blackpool Cobbler.
First time I went to Carlisle was in our Calderwood promotion season. Someone from this board got hit in the face by a coin thrown from one of their fans to the left of us.
I'm getting the train from MK at 8.13. Got a return for £19 with my railcard when I booked it in September. We will definitely lose, but I'll have a good day regardless.

I'm guessing but I reckon about 1997 or maybe 1998 with David Seal scoring.

Even with breaking up the tickets from Oxford, the cheapest I could do was £82! None of my brigade going, so not car hiring and stayover, as is usual for Carlisle (a)...so giving a miss this time. Hotel and trains booked for Liverpool, just after Christmas though...can't wait for that. Always Friday nights at Tranmere in the 80s...think last time I was there was the Wed evening relegation back in 91 time!

Had that choice tbh, but would have been stuck in MK on return though. Pity, direct as well!

It was Karl, and I was quite grateful he was there as I was standing the other side of him . I remember spending more time watching the cricket (4th Ashes Test) in the concourse than I did watching the football that day. A long way to go to watch the cricket. Speaking of Australians, I believed Pedj Bojic got the winner that day.

Spent 4 years in Carlisle hoping we would play them, the year I leave they get relegated. Now live in Plymouth and can't afford to get up there...fantastic.
Places to drink: The Kings Head Woodrows (whetherspoons but good real ale options) Something fancy try Eaten by Monsters, The Zebra something? (been renamed since I was there), and Hell Below and Co, all owned by the same guy and basically on one street. Mooo bar has recently opened, when i was there i counted 24 different types of beer on tap.

In time for Xmas, just about.
This me be a new dawn for this club, What Wilder said needed to be said and boy did he say it, Good on you Chris, the reaction will be intersting to say the very least. So Cobblers how about a win, or a draw from this one and a clean sheet. That would be a good start. COME ON COBBLERS!
