I actually reckon not a single one off us could guess what he is going to do.

In the league at home their last five reads DWLDD.

In terms of team selection he will probably through in Sinclair, Hornby, Ravenhill and Siddiqi.

Referee for this will be Andy Haines. 1-1 draw at home to Mansfield in March was his last Cobblers game.

If rumours are to be believed, we are travelling the day before, therefore even at a travelodge we should have plenty of clean sheets on this trip.

Sorry most positive I feel for this one

This should be called Tranmere (a) aka make or break for Wilder. If we lose this one he's got to go.

Our Last 14 Games...

Burton Albion (H) - L 2-1
Cheltenham (A) - L 3-2
Oxford (H) - L 3-1
Luton (A) - L 1-0
Wimbledon (H) - W 2-0
Rochdale (FA Cup H) D 0-0
Orient (JPT A) L 2-0
Cambridge (A) L 2-1
Rochdale (FA Cup A) L 2-1
Stevenage (H) W 1-0
Southend (A) L 2-0
Plymouth (H) L 3-2
Carlisle (A) L 2-1
Bury (H) L 3-2

Wins: 2 Draws: 1 Defeats: 11 Scored: 15 Conceded: 25

I wouldn't be surprised if Cardoza shows CW the door if we don't beat Tranmere. That form is obviously unacceptable and I think it would be totally justified if he was to be sacked.

On stats - yes
On performances - yes
On confidence - yes
On progress - yes
On potential - yes

But we still NEED to keep him?
For continuation - yes?
Allow him to complete his three year project - yes?
Financially - yes?
To survive the drop - yes?
He is the best available - yes?

I believe that the greatest question is the financial aspect weighing up how much will it cost if we do, how much if we don't and can we afford either?

Play Langmead up front to be the big man with Richards off him. Added bulk going forward and defensively for set pieces.
 Keep a simple 4-4-2 formation.

I think your forecasts are misguided especially for Bury.

He's got to go back to a back four imo. I may be one of a few but I think Greg Robertson is actually a half decent centre half, my team would be the following, I would also stick with Alfei, Wilder clearly likes to play with attacking full backs and this won't happen with Tozer.

                         Duke

Alfei    Diamond.  Robertson/creswell.     Horwood

D'ath.  Carter.      Murdoch.                   K mo

                          O toole

                           Richards

In an attempt to second guess CW and placate Herts Cobbler here is an attempt to play only contract players:
              Duke
RB Tozer    LB Robertson
Diamond  Cresswell  Collins
Carter    Ravenhill   D'ath
    Sinclair  Richards

As you can see I have avoided loan players and think Hackett and KMo need a holiday and also have omitted Horwood who IMO is defensively a passenger(based on Carlisle and Bury performances)

Bench would be Langmead Byrom Murdoch Alfei Snedker JJOT

After we have won 3-1, playing expansive and thrilling football, everyone will have forgotten the doom & gloom of autumn & early winter.

It wouldt be as bad if he stuck with the same team week in week out, least then we would know what was really the issue. The defense clearly has ability and just needs to be playing together. The midfield has and always been a sham and upfront, you cant complain the jobs Richards and Toney have done considering the performance of the midfield.

This next game is a must must win. I do feel Wilders down fall has been his in ability to stick with the same team. Play the contracted players, if it aint working change it in Jan. All abit late now.

Tomorrow the team should be

                                Duke
Alfei (no other choice) Diamond Crewsswell Collins

  Hackett       Murdoch        Carter   Darth
                             O toole
                             Richards
Looking at it, we need a decent contracted holding midfeilder and a right back...
