That's a strange one considering Sammo was talking about having strength in depth over the Xmas period. With our defensive indiscipline it could be a huge mistake with so many matches coming up! Have we extended Tozers loan until January yet?

I think he's back with us now. Looking at Staffords match reports he's made plenty of costly errors including an own goal on his debut. Don't panic, Alistair Slowe is ready to fill in at Centre Half if we struggle with bodies

Beckwith and Tozer are doing well and Holt can cover. Shame, though - Hinton had a good game at Ipswich and although he had a dodgy start, Beckwith and Hinton has been our best defensive pairing over the last couple of years

Fair play to Hinton for actually wanting to go out and play some games, unlike Guinan who has turned down several loan moves and is more than happy just to sit on his ar#e and pick up his pay cheque. Hopefully Hinton will impress whilst on loan and secure a permanent deal their in January. He was prone to making mistakes and lacks pace but he was always commited.
Good luck fella!

I think the Holt centre half experiment died a grim death against Hereford.
Hall will be the cover I expect.

Sammo made it clear at the open forum that Hinton was not in the future of our club. Said he was a nice bloke and good character in the changing room, and a model professional, but not the player we want on the field.

Fair enough - shame these things can't all be dealt with so professionally. Good luck.

I agree, after a shaky start last season Hinton and Beckwith formed a reliable partnership in the centre of defence

Interesting one letting him go with our busy run of games, but I guess if Luton are picking up some/all of his wages and he wants to play first team football then its win/win for all parties. I wish him well as by all accounts he is a decent bloke and a model professional, but im not going to change my mind on how he played for us, he had far more bad games than good in a cobblers shirt, but nevertheless I still wish him well on his loan spell/future.

Sammo has done what the fans wanted. Got rid of Guinan and Hinton. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the arse. Good luck Hints

A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

Yeh its always massively suprising when transfer listed players move on, especially around deadline day. I would take a punt and say that we havent got Hinton and Guinan off our wages completely

Good luck to Craig, shame he was as error-prone as he was but you can't fault the guy for effort.

no one can doubt his professionalism and he did put in some great performances, shame they were clouded by his early days when he was played out of position
