46 games in 13/14
37 12/13
36 11/12
44 10/11
52 09/10

Doubt there's many players in our squad with a better injury record than that over the past 5 seasons to be honest.

So how many games did he start in 13-14 Huh???

Only started 25, 23 were as a sub

Only started 30 games the previous year, not 37

I was surprised it was that many tho!

That's more to do with him not being first choice at Chesterfield last season though, rather than an indicator of his fitness.

He's been available for selection almost constantly throughout the last 5 years (i.e. not injured/unavailable in the way he is now).

For what it's worth I agree with you, I think we always looked short of cover should Rico get injured and given our injury record that was inevitable!  But suggesting he's always been injury prone is unfair.

Changing tack a bit, the amount O'Toole offers, I'd be happy to see us switch to a 4-4-2, at the very least at home.

I have to say I was surprised he has played so much football of the last 5 years, when you see the facts.

I agree,  if Gray plays he needs supporting up there, Ivan coming on certainly helped on Sat. And for what o'toole offers we have nothing to lose.

At least with the two young lads there you give themselves a chance!

That said Geronimo is fit so think he may come I for John Joe and keep the same system???

I think both Gray and Toney look better playing as a front two, as opposed to individually by themselves. Think you are right though that if Diego has recovered by Friday he will replace JJOT and the system will stay the same.
