John-Joe, John-Joe
It's off to work he goes
With a mullet that's grand
And an Black head band
John-Joe John-Joe John-Joe

Changed it so the syllables match up.

This would be well funny with load of people in wigs and head bands lol

Did anyone see JJOT's Getting to know you page in the programme Saturday?

He chose this as his Karaoke song:

Now I would like to see that!

Never lets us down.

Bang! We have our line.

Listen out at Mansfield as I shall also attempt to get that one off the ground, so join in!

I like the mullet that's grand one for John-Joe, I reckon the Jolene John-Joe version would get sped up by the 12 year olds.

I see asked about tickets, think it was 340 before the weekends game so with people buying whilst at Sixfields maybe could have pushed up to around 450/500?

430 announced earlier Smiley I'd like to think we'll have 800 at least. £7 for one of the closest games really is great value.

What a flippin ridiculous emotional merry-go-round that was. Never experienced anything like it before or since.

Never managed to find any highlights of the game but can remember everything vividly.

Colin Larkin scored the winning pen for them that night. During his time here my ex befriended his wife. I got home one evening and there he was sitting in my living room - so we gets chatting about that game. He said that every single Mansfield player were completely s***ting themselves that night after our comeback - agreed that was def a penalty when Amamoah got hauled back near the end and that their skipper should def have been sent off !!

Didn't help one bit !!!

One of my proudest days being a Cobbler, not lessened by the fact we lost.

I've never been back to field mill after that night, one of the best and yet worst of times being a cobblers fan. Not many games provide the full extent of emotions but that one did. So proud yet so disappointed.
I do remember the Mansfield fans stood on either side of the road as the coaches were leaving applauding us, which was a nice touch.

To the Georgios Samaras Song...

Wooaahhh Johnny Johnny, he floats like a gazelle.
Like the lovely Cheryl, he uses L'oreal.
He's definitely worth it,
with hair so long and fine.
He's John Joe O'Toole,
Cobblers mastermind.

(The best copy I could find)

Don't listen with your volume up too loud unless you want your ears to bleed!

I'm not 100% on where the actual tune is from, it sounds familiar but can't put my finger on it

Tactical decision to take him off in place of Zander to make sure that he stays fit for his big day. We all knew what Wilder was doing  Grin

Lots of wigs have been ordered from the Works in Northampton, so a local company has benefited from all of this as well  Smiley Surely with our current form, we will sell out at £7 a pop.
