David Webb in the middle for this one, if he agrees to it going ahead it will be his first Cobblers match. He is listed as coming from Lancashire so doesn't have too far to travel to conduct his inspection but may err on the side of caution because he allowed the recent Bury-Wycombe game to go ahead which, if I remember correctly, in hindsight he probably wouldn't have following the adverse criticism.

You are correct, he did. I thought that he had done matches more recent as well but couldn't pull the records that revealed that....the soccerbase I looked at only started his career at the back end of the 2012-13 season! Can't trust these computer things.. just looked at that match: Chris Dunn in goal with the future German national keeper Ron-Robert on the bench, Andy Todd/Kyle Walker included for us, ian Morris for them and the Cobblers scorers: McGleish, Coke and Jackman(2)...

Now on a better computer I can add that in addition to the 4-4 Scunny match he has officiated in two other Cobblers games, the 1-0 home win over Oxford in March 2013 and the 7-2 home defeat against Shrewsbury in November 2011 which included Saido Berahino playing alongside Bayo (wonder what happened to those two?) ...

Look for the ugliest bastard you can find, stood by a bike, wearing a beret, hooped vest and carrying a string of onions and shouting, Ee Bah gum.
