I think that Cresswell has been playing well for a while now, the point I was making was Collins gets a public b*llocking but others don't and that is a fact.
Not so sure about that as he criticized David Moyo 13/1/15 - saying Moyo would not make NTFC starting 11 In an interview on the 1/1/15 he criticized Archer and Alfei Whatever you might think I happen to prefer a manager who kicks ar$e when needs be, whether done publically or behind doors. After all if you make a catastrophic error in public then you have to be prepared to face the consequences. It appears we have a strong willed manager and pretty confident it will lead to the makings of a good side/team.

It's not so much he mentioned Collins' mistake, it's just that he kept banging on about it the whole interview.

Also think players getting a kick up the arse (for torrid ridiculous game changing fcuk ups) is fine by me. Would it have been better had CW blamed the pitch, ref, other team's tactics, too many games per week...?

And if you slip because you have chosen to wear short studs on a wet greasy pitch? Is that a mistake?
You seem to be struggling to understand this. Let me try to help. If a player chooses the stud he thinks would be best for the surface but then starts to slip then yes, he has made a mistake in his selection which is easily rectified. If the slip costs a goal then that's unlucky. If a player chooses the stud he thinks would be best for the surface EVEN THOUGH HIS MANAGER HAS TOLD HIM NOT TO WEAR THOSE STUDS but then starts to slip then again yes he has made a mistake, however this one is a biggie! If the slip costs a goal then the player in question could fairly expect to feel the wrath of his manager. Now do you get it?

Your wanting a reply then Yes, And I was also wondering that if a player falls on the pitch, but there is no one there to see him, does his manager make a noise?

Man management.
He battered JJ and sent him out on loan. Did that work?
Collins is no fairy, he's got a bit of history. I'm sure he can take it, and it may just fire him up a little for future games.
I've gone full circle with my assessments on Wilders man management. I thought he had lost the dressing room a few weeks ago, he's proved he hadn't I think it's fair to say?
I just wish he would send the keeper up in injury time when we are losing and we get a corner. I told Jefferson Lake that the other night at an event I was at, hopefully the message will get through!!

Well, stone me Marvo! I didn't know CW had been eyeing up his studs...!!!! That makes all the difference then...I take back what I said. A public flogging with a pair off Addidas Santiagos is the very least we can expect Thank God there isn't a steering wheel on your loco!

A public flogging with a pair off Addidas Santiagos is the very least we can expect Thank God there isn't a steering wheel on your loco! It was an example. Wilder had obviously sent his team out with instructions not to take chances on a bumpy pitch, if in doubt, hoof it out. The player in question decided to ignore those instructions and it cost us a goal. Of course Wilder was angry. I wouldn't worry yourself too much about driving trains, at your level of understanding you'd do well to get a job cleaning them.

Well if you think it's a good idea to programme footballers like robots Marvo, don't expect anything more than what we've had over the last few years. Unfortunately they have to use their brains sometimes...make a decision. Inevitably there will be occassions when they get it wrong. Such is life!
Otherwise, give 'em a set of wheels and a pair of rails to run along. Choo-choo!

I've no idea what your problem is. The manager gives his players instructions. The player ignores those instructions. A goal is conceded. Manager is angry with player. It's pretty simple but if you think it's better for players to ignore their manager then so be it.

I don't have a problem Marvo. We just disagree on what good management is. It certainly isn't as black and white as you paint it. I see that Alan Knill did the press video this week...it has happened before when Wilder has gotten shirty about something. It's Good Cop/Bad Cop...that's probably what makes them a good team!
