Cant really argue with prices or discount period. I can justify spending £249 on a ST quite easily and I'm pleased to do so.

It's a good move by the club, and hopefully a sign the PR is being addressed.

Got mine (and the lads) and they acme with the 50% off the new shirt voucher, which we always buy, so another £20 saved.

So, 23 games for £229. Just under a tenner a game, can't be bad.  Grin

Ours are bought and paid for too; a half price adult and senior ticket and two kids tickets, one half price and the other free, meaning they effectively get a season ticket for £12.50 each with 2 half price shirts into the bargain! Result! Cheers, DC!

Oh, and the kids are also invited to go down to Sixfields at easter to watch the players train and to meet them afterwards for autographs and to take them on at Fifa on the Xboxes they have set up, which is a nice touch.

I will buy a season ticket when the all singing/dancing stadium is finished.
Plus il know if it's worth buying by the ambition shown transfer wise pre season.
In fairness the transfer policy is good right now so that's not a concern.
Bring on the 10,000 seater stadium.
It'll be good to visit six fields again.
Let's hope the new stadium comes with an atmosphere.

I love a stadium with a happy atmosphere Grin

Was a season ticket holder at six fields until two seasons ago.
Been to five away games this season.
Will purchase a season ticket again when the stadium is finished.
Sad thing is I don't miss not going to six fields,I wasn't enjoying it,the atmosphere was poor(bring back terracing) and the money I've saved has been spent elsewhere.
I'd been going up the county ground/six fields for 25 years and if your not enjoying the experience you wouldn't go would you.
I like away games.
On the whole it's the 10% of fans who are there to have a good time - the 90% who sit in silence, moan if you stand, moan if you sing, moan at any sign of emotion.
That's why I like away games.
If the ground is ever started/finished I hope they have an old folks stand where they actively put them all together to sit in silence and let the fans who wish to get behind their team do so without being stared at and looked down upon for doing so.

To be fair Shoey, the whole standing in a seating area thing provokes understandable reactions from people since those doing it often don't show consideration for others. It never ceases to amaze me the number of people (particularly at away games) who congregate at the front of the stand and then proceed to stand up, blocking other people's view. If you want to stand, why not head for the back few rows so you aren't spoiling other people's enjoyment?

It's not about being killjoys either. Take my dad for instance. He's been following the Cobblers home and away for the best part of 60 years. He's now nearly 80 and has had a hip replacement. With the best will in the world he physically can't keep jumping to his feet whenever something interesting happens.

Sorry, bit of an off topic rant but it's something that pisses me right off.

Where exactly were you sitting to have such a poor experience? I just can't relate to that as my Sixfields experience. Even when the football has been dire myself and those around me manage to have a laugh about it and remain in good spirit. There is a spare seat beside me which I like as there is nearly always somebody different sat in it game on game. I don't remember anyone miserable being sat there and we always manage to have a chat about the game and the goings on at the club.
No offence meant here but maybe your comments say more about you than your fellow Cobbler.
Cheer up and get yourself along to a game again, the football really is quite good aswell right now.

I feel the long suffering fans in the West need some sort of reward, the North Stand have nice new seats to  put their cheap arses on, whilst the unwashed from the East Stand have been an unwanted guest in our Stand.
Good job us Weststanders are prepared to buy full price tickets.  Grin

And long may it continue so that, with your subsidy, I can continue to afford to put my cheap arse on my brand new seat. And it's the Dave Bowen stand if you please. Wink

Does anyone know what the score is with the shirt vouchers? Are they being sent to you or do you have to collect them? I renewed my two season tickets online last night and have received the booking confirmation email but nothing else. The club have tweeted a couple of times today that the vouchers are still available so I should have qualified.

They gave me mine when I paid but I went in the shop. As you pay they write your name on a sheet of paper with the voucher number beside it. One would hope that when they got your application this would have been done at THAT TIME but how you'd prove you were before an actual visitor on that day I've no idea. Copy the tweet from the club with the the time it was tweeted, you can probably prove via your bank that you paid before that time. Good luck anyway, I'm sure everything will be above board.

Thanks, I will pop in and ask on Tuesday before the game. The booking record online shows the time of purchase anyway so should be ok.
