Try the Clubs Chaplain as well - he should be able to help you.
Who is the clubs chaplain and how can I contact them? I appreciate your replies

The link above should point you in the right direction, at least you have a name now. Am pretty sure I read in the Chron a reference to the Assistant Chaplain as well. If I get any more relevant info will PM you.

Tom, I didn't know your dad by his username, so it was only when I put your surname to his first name that I realized who this thread is about. My memory of him goes back to our time together at William Parker school back in the seventies. In fact, if my memory doesn't fail me we were not only in the same House but also registration class throughout those five years. It was very fashionable back then in Daventry to support Villa especially, but if not then one of the other usual suspects..not your dad though he was one of the few who wasn't bothered by big city lights, he was ntfc through and through. My condolences to you and your family.

Thanks for all the messages guys much appreciated!!! I've spoke to Gareth and the aches are going to be scattered on Walter Tull memorial and there will be a tribute in the match day program for the tranmere game on the 14th, so thank you for those who suggested him.
Seriously thank you very much for all the kind words.

Sad news and a good friend for a few years following Teyn up and down the country. Good times, good sessions in the 90s and early 2000s. Lots of things come to mind, a great weekend in Torquay for that promotion, drinking celebratory beers on the clifftop in Babbacombe in evening sunshine. A train trip to Fulham for a night match preceded by a few pre-match ****tails in Putney before blagging a ride back buckshee on one travel club coach or another, can't remember which one, they were "delighted"to have us if I recall! Also remember a trip to Bournemouth with Ade at the wheel when laughing and joking about stupid people forgetting tickets just past Oxford when Ade suddenly shouts out " Oh f@ck" And quickly turns the car round, drives all the way back to Dav to you've guessed it pick up the forgotten tickets still arrives in time for kick off. There was the -10 degree game at Basingstoke and a trip to Southend where we never even saw the sea (found a pub on the way in to town, stayed there til kick off). My condolences to Tom and family and friends and if I could pay one last tribute I will sign off this post in the way Davcob always signed his posts off. UTC FTP

You couldn't have wished to have met a better bloke. I hadn't seen Ade in a few years but he was claret and white to the core. Thoughts with you and the family, Tom. UTC, FTP.

Anyone that would like to attended Ade Millers funeral it is on the Friday the 27th of March at Rainsbrooke crematorium in rugby at 11am. The wake has not yet been confirmed but it has been suggested as peppermill in daventry but again no comfirmation yet.
Also there will be a little tribute in Saturday's match day program.

If anyone else is going to Ade's funeral on Friday from Northampton and would like a lift I have a couple of seats.
God bless you Ade, so many happy memories of Cobblers away days and a genuinely lovely, big-hearted man xx

Just a reminder it's the funeral tomorrow at 11am at rainsbrook crematorium in rugby and then the wake is at the peppermill in daventry from 12:30 onwards.
If possible wear claret for the funeral but no worries if not.
Anybody welcome to show their respects
