Welcome Christian. If he's any good we can tie him down with a three year deal, and golden handcuffs.

Hardly! I remembered reading the article at the time and found it somewhat strange, this was only a matter of weeks ago. The spade stayed in the shed.

Wikipedia is hardly the most trust worthy source I appreciate, however it suggests his sprint record as a youth was 10.01! If he is anywhere near that then he will be very useful. Especially away from home with d'ath and Holmes pace to go with his.

Could be a bit of a 'moneyball' signing as someone said on twitter.

You're right to be suspicious.  10.19 is the current youth world record so I think you can probably take the claim that he did it in 10.01 with a pinch of salt!

Who is Christian? Or do you mean he is a Christian?

Normally a signing such as this would have garnered responses such as "why are we signing somebody who can't even get in a side lower in the league than we are?" Thankfully the acquisition of Jason Taylor has taught us all a valuable lesson. Welcome aboard Jimmy.

If he has the same impact as Holmes, Taylor & Moloney then he could prove to be a very shrewd signing.

Not a young untried prem youth player...knows this division and has a point to prove to Accy manager by the sounds of their forum.

Welcome fella!

I would hate to watch Conference football so I can't blame anyone for not wanting to play in it.

I would rather sign someone who knows the league than some wet behind the ears PL youngster who is fresh from the U-21 league.

Reminds me a bit: reference John Marquis.
