You do realise there is absolutely no possibility that the East Stand will be finished and open for the start of next season? This is one mess that will not be "alright in the end".
You're almost certainly correct in which case we will be accommodated in the West again, still for only 8 quid a game.
I'm under no illusions that we will actually be in the East stand Grin

So we've got the East Stand refugees paying £8 per game and North Stand st holders paying similar. Where's the money going to come from to get decent players when half the crowd are paying Conference South prices?

Renewed - I think when you support a club over many years there are periods of disillusion for many reasons - generally poor results or other priorities - despite the redevelopment shambles I'm not sure too many will not renew because of that.

One thing that worries me scanning the crowd in the West we seem to have a high percentage of middle aged fans and without new blood there is definitely a concern for the future.
Well I didn't come often for years in my twenties and thirties, as I was either playing sport, or watching our kids play. I would imagine it's the same for each generation.
It's like how it's mostly little old ladies who go to church. there are always more coming along.

Renewed, same seat since Sixfields opened. It's a day out with mates, have a laugh. a few beers and sometimes the football is worth it too.  Wink

On a serious note.
Given the uncertainty surrounding the financial stability of the club right now as regards the redevelopment and associated companies being put into administration can the trust issue a statement guaranteeing that it is safe to buy a season ticket at the current time and also if the money paid for said season tickets is ring fenced in any way.
It all seems pretty serious and yet the club have yet to explain what it all means😳

Selling East Stand season tickets is already selling under false pretences.

Seriously, if you make an advance payment for something you then don't receive (in full at least) because that company goes into administration: no, you suffer like all the other creditors!

I said that initially on the basis of expecting the E Stand not to be open for the start of next season. But thinking about it more, how can the club possibly be selling East Stand tickets when there is no final plan for the layout of the seating, no decision on how many seats there will even be....?

The club have already provided those East Standers the default options if the stand is incomplete, including a substantial discount in any case.

Tbanana - you are the master of innuendo, incorrect statements, rumours, stirrers especially the muddy kind. What is your main interest, supporting the team or just prolonging the ReDev debate? Where do your loyalties lie?  It is a great pity you missed the recent meeting where your comments would have at least got a decent hearing. In a school play you would have made an excellent doomsday prophet.

Ok - let's try just one last time to see if you can play with the grown ups. Please feel free to explain in detail which of my statements are incorrect. And if you could do that without resorting to offensive language then so much the better.
For the sake of clarity, my main interest is in supporting the future development and success of the Club.
Not that it's any of your business, but I would have attended the last forum and asked my questions had I not been in Hong Kong on business at the time.
