OMG Jalal. I didn't think I would be as bad as it sounded... But it's worse due to that protestation. I don't think there's a 12 year old in the land who 'plays a bit' and doesn't understand that rule! But a pro goalkeeper in the second half of his career?! Soooo embarrassing.

Possibly, although it didn't feel as though he was complaining about handball from a few yards away at the time....and what was he complaining about the second time that he did it....? |

Well that was my last game for this season and what a disappointing way to end it. Thought the side looked clueless in the opening half with defence all over the place. Midfield not much better and Holmes not showing at all. I notice that there appears, at least on here a call for Collins to be offered a new Contract! On the few performances I have seen him he is no great shake; certainly he was poor on Saturday. Don't think he was too badly injured on Sat either - more likely he was withdrawn. Certainly Cresswell and Diamond together did ok second half. We do leak silly goals though and for next season we need to tighten up. Would suggest we need a better left back and a combative midfielder along with Taylor. As for the goalie - words fail me and will be surprised if the Iranian guy is retained. Thought the support was excellent and deserved better on the day. Burton security very courteous and helpful. |
