It was gonna happen some day, one of the richest league1 clubs.

Will they kick on? Who knows. Next season they will be fine, big gates assured for many reasons plus huge away crowds guaranteed.

But it's a massive step. Nearly 17000 today, but we know that despite big crowds most are day trippers. But a fair few may stick with em for now, but I reckon at some point they will be back down. Aka Wigan.

I think they'll be in the Premier League within 10 years.

Credit to them, abhorrent and immoral as they are, they've left NTFC trailing in their wake since they arrived in Bletchley and truly take our club to the cleaners in just about every department on and off the pitch.

I thought I'd be gutted the day they went up but I'm not I've realised it doesn't really affect me..
I wonder how they will get on they have been financed by getting some big transfer fees in and by developing land around the ground. The land is now full so that income will stop and the big crowds still contain cheap tickets given away to schools and clubs. They will get some massive away crowds next year as they can give 10k + tickets to visitors.

I still hope they go for it spend loads of cash they don't have and it implodes or is that just petty😊

I was gutted!! Watching Col U against Preston I was willing PNE to score....but they blew it big time so the Donkeys go up! I think they'll do ok in the championship. They have a good manager, will get bigger crowds next year (they like the big games do the plastics!), and any team that scores 101 goals in a season will do fine one level higher.

Fair play to them, they've got the facilities, infrastructure, and despite me hating them and how they came about with a passion they've finally acheived what they set out to acheive. It took them 8 years from moving into Stadium MK to get to the Championship......... Wink

2010/11 average 8,512  2011/12 average 8,659  2012/13 average 8,612   2013/14 average 9,047   2014/15 average  9,452

Maybe I'd just resigned myself to it happening. I do hope they fail they might like a big game but they also like a bad run hopefully they get off to a bad start and can't recover 😇

At the end of the day we all have other teams who's result we note for various reasons but all that really matter is how the Cobblers get on and if they start getting some success then nothing else matters.

An outstanding example of a forward thinking council and an ambitious chairman.

Well done to them. They'll be in the prem within the next ten years. We'll be roughly where we are now.

I must confess that I was (to my own surprise) pleased to see the plastics win today.

The reason? They relegated Preston to the play-offs which they have failed in 9 times before, I am told.

As I can't stand the chairman, manager, or former manager (Fergie Junior) of Preston I wish them ill.
