Jeremy C has put an article up from another website stating £250,000 deal to be completed next week! The fee gets lower every day doesn't it!?

Don't worry the sell on elements will be higher (cough).

When Mike Ashley and his crew came riding by
In a flash Cardoza changed his plan
We need cash let's sell him if we can

Poor Ivan, what you going to do
Sold to play on a zero hours contract
What you going to do

Poor Ivan, what you going to do
Things look bad for you
What you are going to do

Could you use a forward
You hairy bunch of Geordies
Young, strong, well behaved
Going cheap and he scores goals

In a trice the dirty deal was done
An undisclosed fee for Cobblers' favourite son

Then the geordies galloped off with Ivan in tow
Off to Newcastle where Ivan was not keen to go

It would not be a picnic he could tell
I don't speak Geordie very well

I think he actually stated fee will be in the region of £250,000 to £500,000, but will probably remain an undisclosed fee (what a surprise) with add-ons depending on how his career progresses.

Aaron mclean

Not a bad shout, as long as he is not costly on the wage front.

He's recently been training with Dagenham I think.  If they were at all interested in him I'd guess his wage demands aren't particularly outrageous, very frugal club.

Its looking more like Wilder will bring in a loan signing to plug the gap should Toney move on.

BBC reporting that Paul Corry has been included in the 'team photo' for the season.

Can't say I know a great deal about him but looks as though he's incoming.

Cannot believe the Toney situation. Our chairman is such a clown.

Definitely worth a look in that case then, although they may offer him regular first team football.

Heard today (from someone on the coaching staff) that we were asking £1m for Toney from NUFC, but the sale will go through (maybe tomorrow) for somewhere between £500k and £750k...   Wink

Interested to see Luton have signed Mickail Smith and that Aaron McLean is training with Daggenham. Despite both being ex-posh both aren't that old 31/32 and could be great signings at this level.

No maybe you're thinking of Izale McLeod who didn't do much on loan here but has since gone to Crawley and has been in good scoring form.
