I run skips in & out of Stevenage everyday, weather doesn't seem to be causing any problems at the moment.

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

Don't think they have any pubs next to the ground so Its the old town about a mile away, any good pub suggestions? I know Stevenage really well for work reasons not socialising. Last time we we're there we had the red card council protest, good we got that sorted out

Station: Aprox 1 mile away...20 minute journey, every 20 mins or so from Kings Cross...for any going via the Smoke!

Just been looking on their web site for ticket details. It says of the North Terrace, "Three quarters of the terrace is covered, whilst one third is open and without cover". Hmmm...wonder what the other two fifths are like?

Don't know about the Old Town but I'm thinking of the Orange Tree in Hitchin. Superb little pub about half way for me!

The Lytton Arms in Old Knebworth is worth a visit, although 10 mins by car from the ground and wrong side from northampton I know quite a few Herts based Cobblers fans who are meeting in Welwyn Garden City before the game as only three train stops away!

Hello to our Cobbler friends For pub choices, Our Mutual Friend is away fan friendly, real ales and basic food chilli or curry usually available and filled rolls for £1 - 5 mins walk . The Peartree in Valley Way is a bit further away, serves proper doorstops and child friendly 10 mins walk (to get to away end from either of these pubs don't walk right round the ground take gate just before turnstile). The Old Forge on London Road a Carvery Inn and about 10 mins walk to ground, opposite this is The Roebuck Inn small hotel bar, pricey And not forgetting the club house which also welcomes away fans, situated by the away end For those of you travelling by train Wetherspoons and The Old Post Office is in town by the bus station and if your thinking of bussing to ground you want the SB5 ring bell when you pass macdonalds on retail park to right.

With the game on this Saturday, due to the milder weather (shorts!), I hope Cobblers fans make an extra effort, for this local game, and we get a proper turnout to help the team start a sustained improvement and climb the table.
