Karen Carnie should have played against France. She always loos as though she'll do something when she has the ball. Our keeper's a bit dodgy though.

I starting to get really good vibes about this. And I'm not just talking about perving over some of the squad.

Why do England teams, in whatever sport, not play to our strengths in the first place? That's the cricket and women's football that have achieved playing our way, albeit the women only after going a goal down.
I would like the U21s, the Ashes and senior team next year to do the same. Going out trying is much better than the whimpering we have endured.
Note to CW and The Cobblers for next season?

Excellent attacking first fifteen minutes set up the win. An England team playing to their strength rather than worrying about the opposition . It does work...

Pearl Harbor in the final...

Better team in the second and beaten by a fluke!

After watching the game and digesting what happened I have arrived at the conclusion that we were incredibly unlucky. Well proud of the girls.

Agree very very unlucky but we always fall flat on the big stage. Anyway on the bright side if England had lost to the Yanks on 4th July weekend I would have had to leave the country.

If we do the krauts on Saturday that would be excellent.

But.........I have a very bad feeling..

 Cool

I thought I'd offer to give consolation cuddles to certain members of the team.

Great result last night. Third place is very creditable, especially after coming so close and being so unlucky not to be in the final. I can go and have a dig at some of my neighbours now.

Best of the European teams.
An aggressive performance both physically and in their play that didn't allow the World's No1 ranked team to play their own game.
Mark Sampson has progressively coached them throughout the tournament,  well done the England Women.
