Solid player at this level - pretty sure Clarke will start the season as first choice, given his experience and past association with Wilder.

The only thing about that selection is that based on last year Richards appears to be more effective with a "striker" to work with! Toney was at times quite effective with Richards.

Old school 4-4-2 then. I agree. Toney and Richard both look much better when playing together. The makings of 40+ goals between them given enough game time.

.....off field turmoil to a certain extent self generated by fans!

If we finish in the top 3, I can get a seat to see all the games, & the club pays it's bills so is still in business for the step up I will be a happy man - all of which seem entirely possible......................

Very pleased with this signing. A half decent squad now , although I feel there will be quite a few decent teams in league 2 this season.
