Longtime Cobblers fan from Northampton originally but lived in Milton Keynes for the last 28 years.
Used to have a season ticket, but still try and get to as many games as possible, even with one child that hates football and one that supports MK Dons........
Look forward to conversing about our team with you all, seems to be a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of the club on here.

Makes for good banter having divided family loyalties. We have a Cobblers/ Hatters rivalry.

How did your child end up supporting MK Dons?
I want to avoid as many mistakes as possible with my children. Why didn't they choose your team?
Was it over exposure, did you talk to them about the Cobblers from day 1? Did you not take them to the Cobblers first? Did you not care who they supported? Is the other parent of the child an MK Dons fan?
Sorry that there are so many questions but I am really hoping my children follow the Cobblers so we can go together and talk about it at home, the wife still thinks Carlo Corrazzin plays for us, so it would be nice to have Cobblers talk in the home.
I know it's not the end of the world but for me it would great.

Think yourself lucky I am trying to keep my lad away from the dark side of the ball, which in my case is Bayern effing Munich. One good point is he can sing The Fields are Green.

To answer your many questions: Was it over exposure, did you talk to them about the Cobblers from day 1? No. Did you not take them to the Cobblers first? Yes. Did you not care who they supported? It is their choice, I'm not a pushy parent. Is the other parent of the child an MK Dons fan? She hates football unless it involves Wales... The boys were both born in Milton Keynes, I'm a firm believer in supporting your local team. I would have liked for them to support the Cobblers but it is not the end of the world.

So she hates football as well then? If you've a brother who supports a crap team, I've a shot at a hat-trick here
