Trialist A told us while on the pitch his name was Obilagi or something...almost Bayo proportions but agile and very good...cracking goal!
Trialist B not on the pitch too long...clattered and went off with shoulder injury. Don't know if both from same place but worked well together.
Holmes on fire with pace and brilliant finish for third!
Zander Diamond got into fracas with their large (better not say African) player who elbowed him to ground. We were shouting at ref...ZD asks if we saw it!  Grin
Pretty rubbish food kiosk...pretty rubbish club shop (considering)...and graced with the presence of half a dozen Borussia Dortmund fans!

James Alabi, looked him up and looks to be the guy that played.

Great quote about Alabi on Wikipedia...

After seeing him in training Irons manager Brian Laws compared him as a 'technically better' version of John Gayle, who Laws believes was one of his best signings in his first spell at Sc***horpe.

If Trialist B was Theo Robinson he's been a long time coming! Sean Dyche offered him to Ian Sampson on loan about 5 years ago but Sampson turned him down.

Pity no Nile Ranger, I think he could of been a great wildcard to have.

Still not sure why the club has not named them though, are they frightened other clubs might come in for them quicker?

If Trialist B was Theo Robinson he's been a long time coming! Sean Dyche offered him to Ian Sampson on loan about 5 years ago but Sampson turned him down.

I meet Theo on holiday a few years back in Mexico. Spoke to him after seeing the tweet from the Pompey taxi driver. He confirmed it was a rumor. Although he wouldn't say who he was joining apart from I got him to slip up that the club was a league 2 side.

Has been training with Pompey during pre season.

Sheffield FC put the team on their website. James Alabi and Theo Robinson were the trialists. http://www.sheffieldfc.com/match-reports/first-team-vs-northampton-town-first-team-3117

Very good spot!

So why on earth were they anon? Another VERY strange decision by the club. Hardly bloody galictico's or ex jail birds!
