Isn't the ira song a sectarian chant and therefore illegal and liable to land the club a fine and possible points deduction?

I preferred the "Rod McDonald plays like Lahm e i ei o" version somebody suggested a while back (possibly in this thread, possibly elsewhere). Not 100% sure what other lyrics could be used in that one though.

What about more Ricky Holmes chants?

Isn't the ira song a sectarian chant and therefore illegal and liable to land the club a fine and possible points deduction? yes spot on, its an bigots song. Illegal in scotland but no specific legislation down here. Just a frw old has beens from a now non existant glasgow rangers backgound clinging on to it I reckon. Need some new positive and inclusive songs, although the f*** the posh bit is ok !!

Unfortunately most of the singers of that stupid song seem to be young enough to not have been born when it was even remotely relevant.

Following on from the news of DC's arrest, my suggestion would be for us to sing the chorus of Michael Buble's song It's a Beautiful Day (because it is!!).
Here's the words
It's a beautiful day and I can't stop myself from smiling If we're drinking, then I'm buying And I know there's no denying It's a beautiful day, the sun is up, the music's playing And even if it started raining You won't hear this boy complaining 'Cause I'm glad that you're the one who got away, mmm mmm
Now obviously there's an error in the last line and it needs to read "the one who DIDN'T get away" but other than that it sums up my mood precisely!
Wonder if they could play this at Sixfields before the next match against York? !!!!!
