I see our ex MP is blindly defending Ted Heath (despite several police enquiries) - I've no idea if Heath is guilty or innocent but surely Brian you should be welcoming a proper enquiry that clears you friends name - guilty or innocent there is little doubt that there were institutional cover up for the rich or famous so if you are really a friend of Ted keep your mouth shut until an unbiased outcome is forthcoming.
We all record the "sword of truth statement" from your dishonest & immoral cohort, so prudence would suggest you hold your comments for the time being......
As for that dreadful ex senior police officer on TV today saying we should draw a line under it because it happened a long time ago - what a pathetic specimen of an individual who is meant to uphold law and order - whoever the perpetrators and whatever the time - I'm spitting mad on this one for all the abused and ignored (and fully aware of malicious false claims).

I simply can't get my head around what on Earth was happening in this country 30 and 40 years ago. After Rolf Harris I don't think I'd be shocked with any name now. Also, find it amazing that nothing ever came to light before the other year. It's all saddening.

Agreed - and because of media coverage you start to think its the norm rather than the exception - I absolutely understand false and malicious claims can ruin life's but also cannot accept the wealthy, famous and privileged can get away with doing whatever they want to the weak and the vunerable - shocking indeed. |

They have been doing it for hundreds of years and unfortunately these investigations will change nothing because these people are so arrogant that they think they can get away with it and the majority of them will continue to do so. These investigations only touch the tip of the iceberg. |

Far from it - it is in fact a comment on (misused) powerism if you need an "ism" Saville was many things but classy was never one of the descriptions...... |

Call it what you like. Your still a bit thick attributing it to any class, power, creed or whatever. You choose how you'd like to pigeonhole it. My experience is that it transcends all walks of life. |

Yep you are right - I must be incredibly thick still thinking after all our exchanges you still might have the ability to read and understand anything I write without turning it into some sort of personal (you are smarter than me) argument. So yes again you are right I clearly and unequivocally said child abusers could be pidgeon holed into a type - it's there for all to see.... |

You have an uncanny knack for taking total ownership of a targeted comment, in order to gain victim status. I stated that you were thick for attributing it to any specific section of society.
