Roy O'Donovan scored for Central Coast Mariners of the Australian A League last week, albeit it hit his chest and went in. He is their main striker so tells you something about the standard down there. Having said that the games are well attended with about 40K turning out to watch the Melbourne derby won 3-2 by Melbourne Victory over Melbourne City, and not a bad game either. Melbourne City along with New York City of the MLS are owned by the people who own Man City.

Also of interest Luke Boden who had 4 games for the Cobblers on loan during 2009 (I don't remember him although must have seen him play) is currently playing for Orlando City in the MLS alongside Kaka.

Delighted to say that Michael "He's one of our own" Jacobs scored against Bradford City today.  Also Billy Bodin scored.  Not sure about goals in the FA Cup, but I'm sure somebody will put me right.

Diamonds, nah, too far down the levels.  Or Ketrin for that matter.  Oh, and goals for Peterborough don't count either.

Roy O'Donovan scored another goal for Central Coast Mariners in the Australian A League, albeit his team lost 3-1. He also missed a sitter.
