Well we went to Liverpool with a far weaker team and what a night that was.

You just never know, especially with the Cobblers.

Was dreading the thought of traveling up there after witnessing Saturday's debacle but I can't wait to drive up there now.

Got my tickets today so plus 3 to the total! Also note both the trust and independent coaches are full. Still space left on the Sixfields Travel coach if anyone is still looking for transport

Might already have been reallocated but I gave up 1 spot on Sixfields Travel this afternoon... In case anyone looking for coach travel.

Difference to Liverpool is McClaren will put half a team out.  The minority of Newcastle fans who like him don't trust him & Ashley and I think he'll go for a win just to get a few onside.

Any idea whether away pay on the turnstile? I live near Newcastle and didnt fancy betting on the postman arriving.

McLaren said on SSN this afternoon that he is putting a strong side out to win the game bearing in mind he had a PL game last weekend and another at the weekend coming.
Read into that what you want...

Your right there as their Web Sites seem to be taking us seriously even though we are massive underdogs!

With a bit of luck one Mr Carr might have given an inaccurate report boosted by our performance in the Plymouth game Undecided

... weekend coming and they have strong strength in depth.

To me it said they are putting out some fringe players.

The bits of heard sounded like sound-bytes to keep fans on side and get them at the game.

Mentioning the weekend gone, and the weekend coming, clearly means changes are planned.

Can see the sardonic grin on Graham Carrs face as he gave the match report.

We might get to see our Ivan - their u-21s match against Brighton yesterday was postponed, so he should be fit and raring to go.

I don't think fitness is what is keeping him out of the team.

We should put out a good team tonight. One of the major issues we had with Ashley & Pardew for the last few years was that we didnt take the cups seriously. Ashleys main aim was the stay in the league. Our team could look something like this:
                                  Darlow
Janmaat            Lascelles        Taylor         Haidara
                          Tiote        Colback
      Thauvin                 De Jong           Aarons
                                  Perez

Could be Krul in goal instead of Darlow. And who knows who will be upfornt out of Cisse/Perez/Mitrovic

Ah, no Shearer, Gascoigne, Beardsley, Waddle or Wor Jackie.  We could be in with a chance.
