Who is this Karl Darlow chap who might be in goal tonight?  Seems he was born and raised in the Tayn, not the toon.  Was he ever on our books as a youngster or is he one that got missed by our eagle-eyed scouting team?

They signed him from Forest in the summer, so no NTFC connection that I am aware of.

McLaren said on SSN this afternoon that he is putting a strong side out to win the game bearing in mind he had a PL game last weekend and another at the weekend coming.
Read into that what you want...

I do have some doubt that Mclaren knows what his best team is, I woder if he will have an umbrella if it rains. Grin

Wikipedia says he was initially at Villa. There is a Ntfc connection as his grandfather Ken Leek played for us!

Karl Darlow is a former student at Moulton Secondary School.  I taught him history rather than PE.

Do you remember if he supported The Mighty Cobblers.  If he did, it would be the morally right thing to do to ensure that we win - a little slip at an opportune moment maybe.  Getting distracted by a friend/ex-bird in the crowd as Rico runs up to take a penalty, that sort of thing.

Hasn't Smith been Man of the Match in pretty much all the games he's played? Be a bit harsh to drop him wouldn't it?
