I have heard the Man City link through a former player, now manager, today, and that the deal is "imminent" and that we have "the biggest potential of any lower league club". I wait with baited breath.

A deal has been imminent for weeks/months. The Man City link isn't new either. Imminent 1. about to happen. I guess it will be imminent when it is about to happen but it hasn't been an apt description so far for any shot in the dark. I don't actually think anyone knows and it may be a fantasy dancing around Cardoza's head. It's certainly one of the worlds best kept secrets.

Wonderful news, I can't wait. You can feel the wave of disappointment rushing through this message board.

Disappointment of DC LEAVING, surely one of your funnier posts, im not sure it would be possible to have a less ambitious chairman so I for one would be thrilled.

If true then great, but like many on here, I will believe what I see in the real world and not what I read on here until it happens.

Unfortunately (and DC takes no credit here) I'm not sure we have had a more ambitious chairman either - ambition for me is having the will and the means!

Sean Dyche also. Think that's all.

He might have meant a former Man city manager?

Apparently, David Mackintosh is going to be on Radio Northampton at 1 pm tomorrow to answer questions from his constituents. I wonder if they will allow any calls/questions about the Cobblers and his role in the loan negotiations?

It is. I've just told the wife so there's one more person that knows.
Looks like the world AND your wife know now.
