I know of a number of latest goings on now, having spoken with a couple of trusted contacts which I will not divulge under any circumstances.
We (the fans) simply have to put HUGE PRESSURE on getting rid of DC. He is killing our football club. Literally.
He needs to hand over the football club to local people with the club at heart and we (the fans) must do everything we can to pressurise him into doing so.
Whilst it is encouraging that some people are 'hearing things' what I will say is that unless those sources are from DC himself, I would question them at this stage.
As usual, I have no motive other than I want NTFC to survive this regime. And give itself the best chance of prospering after they have left us.

That's very much it isn't it? Since the "protest" was first mooted a couple of weeks ago pre-Oxford, we have heard TIHS KCAJ from him. The Trust has raised it's profile (a good thing). The Council are desperately trying to "cover" their "errors" And actually the team are performing quite well. The silence from DC since he had to speak has been both deafening and some would argue defining. Why are the BBC, Chron and HnP not pursuing this?

Because the Chron are all under the thumb, they're awful. If this was a 'bigger' club the local media would be giving him such a grilling and putting him under pressure. He's getting no pressure from the media whatsoever... until this changes, don't expect anything to change. There isn't enough pressure on him, then we are still surrounded by the thousands of morons who have no clue what is going on and still back the clown thinking he's the best thing since sliced bread.

Drilling - I am sure you are right and I appreciate the need to protect your sources of information but most of us know nothing more than what has been posted on this site and the Tony D allegations of impropriety posted on this site and the Chronic's site. Therefore, in that sense we are no farther forward than we were for the protest at the Oxford match except that the clock is ticking down for NTFC and CDNL.
As things stand we are waiting to hear from the Trust what is planned for this Saturday but it is quiet there too.
Some appear to know or claim to know things but for every good news coming posting is a bad news warning. All very frustrating and worrying

Because of various things it has been very difficult to plan the Trust's next step, we are having a meeting tomorrow night, of board members and others who have stepped up to the plate with help. We have had meetings with the local councillors of main parties and spoke to various people who have in the past, been very supportive of NTFC and will analyse all this info tomorrow.

Can I suggest that the best place for any new protest would be at the Cambridge game where you will have a concentration of a good number (1000+) of fans with one entry/exit area for ease of leaflet distribution and not spread/diluted over the whole stadium. The minority in the know will be able to encourage the others to join any chants and being a local Anglia derby should attract coverage from the Norwich based regional BBC/ITV media. Coordinated to not affect the support of the team/players shouldn't attract too many objections?

I would hope so too but we never know with some of these rumours, the takeover may not have been finalised by then?

I really don't think we as fans have any say in this, we certainly can't as I see it put any pressure on DC to sell and certainly not to anyone local. It's a business deal at the end of the day and DC owns the club and will do what he wants including the moving of funds etc, we may not like it but I don't think we can stop it. The only way he'd lose that control is via administration and that would almost certainly bring the end of our league status, maybe a price worth paying admitedly.
