They only get 500 at home in the league.
Walford or also known as elstree and Borehamwood should get up for the cup and travel in large numbers from relatively close albert square. Possibly 700? Northwich vics, much further so a respectable 300?

Looks like we'll be playing Northwick, 2-0 up with minutes left to play in their replay.

Lowest placed team left in the cup aren't they? 12-0 us. The smiley is for those that don't get I'm joking. I know we shouldn't take them for granted etc.

Well done to them. They have a winning mentality, riding high and leading their division with games in hand on those below them. The gap on the day between us and them will be a lot closer than the league pyramids would suggest

What is their average home crowd? How many will they bring for this game? 800+?

Their highest home league gate this season is 156 against Bamber Bridge back in September, their lowest is 115 against Radcliffe Borough! They did get 534 against Chorley in the 4th qualifying round and 502 in the 1st round proper against Boreham Wood. I'd guess there was a decent travelling contingent for both of those. Can't see more than 250 making the trip to Sixfields. Even that might be optimistic!

Putting a wedge on them to win.
Cunning plan. If I put a ton on the Vics that will guarantee a thumping Cobblers win and into the 3rd round draw. If that turns out to be a plum draw that will gain the club a lot more than if I just donate £100 to the Trust. If the worst happens, well I'll still donate £100 to the Trust.

NVFC have a long and proud history, but have suffered terrible problems in recent years. Many of the issues you are currently, or may soon be grappling with yourselves....
The club used to be very well supported for the size of the town.... Vics were the longest continuous members of the Conference (now the National League) and average league attendance was around 1,000. It's only a few years since they beat Charlton in FAC R1 in front of the ITV cameras and took 5,000+ to Sunderland... A few years ago you could have expected a large and noisy following.
Unfortunately the club is now run for the benefit of 1 man. The ground has been lost, the club have become nomadic, the bills remain unpaid, enforced relegations, promotions denied, etc. etc. etc. It's a long and very depressing story.
The fans became totally fed up...... Most disappeared, some formed a new club run by the Supporters Trust (1874 Northwich) and a handful have stuck with it.
Don't think the team will be a push-over though...... Money still comes from somewhere...., they've got a top Manager and many players who should be playing in higher leagues... They are running away with their league and confidence will be high.
